Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best CN #77, worst FR #77 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.14/day in the week to Aug 19 → 24.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The year is 1998. A private jet belonging to the Roottree Corporation has crashed. On it were the Roottree Sisters and their parents. Combined, they were worth over a billion dollars.
Now, due to the eccentricities of their great-great-grandfather Elias, their money must be redistributed to the rest of the family. But who's actually a BLOOD RELATIVE? That's where you come in.
Armed only with the power of your mighty dial-up modem, you'll scour for photos, books, articles and other evidence. Then, you'll make connections and deductions based on the family relationships you uncover. With every spot on the tree you fill in correctly, the names and photos left in your possession will have fewer and fewer places to go — but the evidence will also be harder and more obscure to find.
Can you put together the final pieces of the puzzle?

Neutral. A very good ObraDinn-like, overall a good experience. Just have two problems with it personally: 1. the story is not that interesting or intriguing. mostly just family drama, unlike Obra Dinn. 2. near the end, i had a terrible time keeping track of everything. (i know, a me problem). there's just so much text to remember. maybe i should've been taking notes, idk.

I would really like to recommend this game, but after playing for just under two hours, it became clear that some of the artwork in the game is AI-generated. Very disappointing.
The gameplay is great but the story is kind of vindictive, mean-spirited, and angry. It makes playing the second part hard to play. It takes an obvious anti family (at least rich/traditional family) bent and has an even more obvious message heavily controlled in the authors bias. Taking a biased all old school families fathers never actually loved their wife and kids. They were just obsessed with legacy and money.
The main reason I do say all that is it has an uncritical view of Sam's action and even has a character validate all she does as being 100% perfect and should not be question more then superficially. This is a fictional story and every aspect of fiction is obviously made up by the writer/author. That always going to be the case but how it is done is very important. In this the story perfectly meets all requirement to meet the author personal worldviews and grips with their view on rich families as being hollow and 99% artificial. It's obtrusive. I literally said out loud saw that coming a mile away (about the E.C. "twist" and family skeletons) but hey at least they didn't go crazy making everyone one a cheating abuser. Only to be shut up by the second half of the game. To go back a second they hype up a big secret two characters that you're gonna have to figure out by taking everything you learned and putting the pieces together to find these 2 in the cracks of the Roottree's family history. Only for ALL of the evidence to come from 2 linked books and photograph and the Photo barely attempts to hide the extra face. It literally spells out the name for E.C. in the "hint" in the book. It's so bad it a wonder why there wasn't a gif of someone winking none stop at you for minutes on end after the mail hint is shown. Also basically just outright say E.C. is gay with little room for misinterpretation. It's not at all a challenge worth the hype. The all the spouse names were much harder to notice (except john miller) . For god sake they thought hiding E.C. gay lover with the term roommate. It's pathetic. This gameplay format is great, the in moment discovery of something useful without any hand holding is amazing. However it drag so far down with this vindictive self gratifying story. Like how there is no redeeming qualities of Elias Roottree or any credit given to them for building the foundations of all the vast wealth and comfort the families. There it's not "he was a successful man, but a man of his times and a flawed man". Just a omg he such bigot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pos father. Also hints he has no love of family, just a perverted sense of "BLOOD". Plus he only care about the dudes side, ♥♥♥♥ women. Sam is such a hero, perfect, amazing girl that is so valid in burning it all down omg so good. Also the gay aunt that is suppose to be this liberating figure, just comes off as a hugely vile pos. In fact the more 70s liberal they are the more heck'n valid they are and the more 1920-50 traditional or "of their times" they are the more hollow fake and two faced they are. With exception to the females. This is all fiction which means it all in control of the author. To be so unambiguous and to lack any nuanced characterization of most of the cast is terrible and boring writing.
Anyway this gameplay is great (story sucks) and would work perfectly for a more traditional murder mystery or even better a conspiracy story. Both even.
I want to like this game, i really do.. Starting out it was very interresting, i am personally a big fan of mystery and exploration. But the game is somewhat lazy in its story telling, and it takes so many leaps of logic to make the story work that i gradually lost interrest and lost immersion. The game writers are very obviously american, and very very obviosly extremely political. So the game turns into a moral lecture on gay rights, it is another game where you really get the political messaging figurativly rammed down your throat.
As someone that doesn't play many adventure games I really got into researching the truth and history behind this deep and complex family tree chart. The second part was a little weaker but it had moments.
奥伯拉丁的回归后继有人了(点头) 希望业界每隔几年都能出一个这种做题游戏,防止大伙儿老年痴呆了(笑)
If you're into puzzle/detective games, this is a must-try! It's not the overly-simple item/clue finding that disrespect your intelligence, and not the overly-complicate that can't be played without help (help is there, but you won't need it most of the time). Most of the time, it is in a very good balance zone - complicate enough that you have to think and gather/put clues together, but not impossible. That being said, while the first part of the game is great and fun, the "extra"/second part (Roottreemania) drifted a bit closer to the confusing part, and it can be more frustrating. But overall, great game, and I'm excited to play Incident at Galley House!
