Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.43/day in the week to Aug 24 → 10.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Your task is to construct a two-way rift back to Earth. It is a very complex invention and requires enormous amounts of energy. Simple solar collectors and a few tons of steel will not be enough. You will need to build up a complex chain of mines, refineries, powerplants and research facilities to complete this mission.
Your presence on this planet will not go unnoticed. As you build up your industry and disrupt the natural order, the world will start seeing you as a threat. Build up your defenses. Construct walls, barriers and defense towers as the attacks get stronger with every passing day. You will face thousands of hostile creatures trying to eliminate your presence.
Galatea 37 is an unknown planet in the Sycorax belt of the Milky Way galaxy. Long distance surveys detected that it is inhabitable and perfect for colonization. The planet is full of rare minerals and substances that can be found in various locations around the globe. Varied biomes can surprise you with unknown fauna and flora as well as harsh weather conditions. Construct local outposts in resource-rich locations that will transport the required resources using rift technology.
You play the role of captain Ashley S. Nowak - you are the Riftbreaker, an elite scientist/commando inside a powerful Mecha-Suit. Enter a one-way portal to Galatea 37, a distant planet at the far reaches of the Milky Way Galaxy, with the purpose of building up a base that will allow travel back to Earth and further colonization. Ashley's Mecha-suit, which she calls "Mr. Riggs", can withstand the harshest environmental conditions and has a full range of equipment for base construction, resource extraction, gathering specimens and of course - combat. It is capable of traveling through rifts that connect space across vast distances.
Take on an epic journey across all the different biomes of Galatea 37. You will establish multiple persistent bases across the globe that will fuel your economy. Research alien substances and lifeforms, as well as fight hordes of alien creatures, clearly not happy with your interference in the natural order of the planet. The campaign spans multiple hours and offers a remarkable degree of freedom in a super detailed, procedurally generated world. You can decide on the order of your priorities and what technologies you want to use. You’re the only human there, after all.
Your mission is to survive a set amount of time, fighting off increasingly difficult waves of enemy creatures. Each mission in the game is randomized, offering nearly endless replayability.
The Riftbreaker can be played solo or together in a group of up to 4 friends in Online Co-Op. Every game mode and each mission was specifically balanced to be enjoyed in single or multiplayer mode. The game includes a built-in server browser and a dedicated server mode. It can be played online or through a local LAN connection, entirely offline.
If intense fight for survival is not your thing either, then try out the Sandbox mode, where we give you control over the entire game – including resources, enemy spawns, and weather conditions.
The Riftbreaker’s gameplay can be customized to fit your playstyle. You can change the frequency of enemy attacks as well as their strength and numbers, resource abundance, weather events, enemy damage, and tons of other settings. There are also multiple difficulty presets to suit the needs of both hardcore strategy players as well as those that want a laid-back base-building experience.
The Riftbreaker’s development is continuously fueled by its welcoming community. The game has received years of support after its original release and is continuously expanded thanks to community suggestions and direct contributions. The game has a very open content structure and comes with a built-in set of modding tools, dedicated Steam Workshop integration, and a Mod Manager.

This game is amazing. The developers are totally commited to the game and continue to optimize and add to it. Tower Defense, Base Buiding, Hero Development. It all works.

I could recommend the game somewhat but the fun is on a timer. It just gets very repetitive. The fact that you can build something and transfer resources automatically allows for play where you always risk very little and you don't have to be very involved in fighting which definitely is what the game wants you to do. I think this game is in the same category with They Are Billions - but here having a lot of everything is easy and just works. More than limited by resources for expansion, you are artificially limited by the speed of research. I would assume that it gets harder later but what does it mean in context? It just means there will be more enemies, harder enemies etc. but the fighting is not much fun.
I really hoped to enjoy this game, but it's just not entertaining. Granted, I'm not very far along, but the gameplay loop is very basic and repetitive. Build base, research, defend, rebuild, research defend. Its not even a bad game, but between the monotony and the clunky UI during research and base building, I'm just not having fun.
The base building gets too tedious when you realize you have to redo your borders over and over. You're encouraged to build walls, but a line of defense that you spent 10 mins setting up will probably get used for 1 min, after which your border changes and you need to build new walls that are further out again. You need to build buildings whose sole purpose it to increase your tower capacity so if you were efficient about it, spreading towers out around all of your outposts makes no sense, when they'll be more effective concentrated on just that one that is getting attacked. You find yourself in an infinite loop of building, deconstructing, and re-building the same stuff again but in a different location ad nauseum. At some point, you'd rather not build any walls or defenses at all (since you'll be more productive exploring instead) and just let the critters destroy some buildings, which you'll be able to rebuild back after cleaning up the enemies yourself.

Hilariously broken to the point the devs are just putting in cheat codes and expect you to be cool with that. You can fall through the map, have DLC quest chains just break, have bugs corrupt your entire save, and have enemies stuck outside the map bounds. Those are just the 'big' issues. The small ones are having a bad Z axis positioning in the swamp areas, meaning you gun fires into the ground when on land. Having flickering power, or liquid, states that cause you to have issues with base building or quests. I do love watching my resin flicker between 300 and 0 at the speed of light causing the quest to never complete. The devs fix? Why, they have cheat codes! Hurray! In fact, the cheat codes are well documented in the patch notes and the dev's responses on the steam forums. Some of these bugs are so problematic that you don't just need one cheat code, no no good sir. You need A LOT of cheat codes. In a row. The game itself is fine, boring and grindy but if you like the loop you like the loop. What you're not going to like is how often you're having to stop and research whether or not your save can be fixed or if you're totally screwed.
VSync setting in the game seems broken -- no matter the screen mode (windowed, borderless window, fullscreen ) or VSync setting (on, off), I only ever get 72 FPS on my machine, with CPU and GPU being used ~30% and ~60% respectively. Also, ray tracing doesn't work anymore somehow ... and there's still no real solution, 1 year after they disabled it. Sadly, these are deal breakers for me. Lastly, just adding to the overall technical impression, the benchmarks cannot be closed via the big buttons on the screen, instead I have to Alt-Tab-X them.
