Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
This game is a survival game but is relatively cozy. You can have up to 9 different dogs with different personalities and stories (they are the best part of the game). I saw some reviews saying the game gets repetetive really quickly, I don't disagree but also I don't find it as bad. If you go for 100% than it can be repetetive and tedious, but if you just calmly enjoy your runs and experiment, it is not too bad. There is rng in some of the encounters resulting in different outcomes (making it not as repetetive as some people claim it to be). This game is not for everyone, but I still think it is good. I would recommend it to people who just want to play something cozy and not overthink it. While it is a survival, once you find the different tools it is relatively easy.
Very good game

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

★★★★★ A Beautiful and Emotional Adventure The Red Lantern is such a beautiful and relaxing game. I really enjoyed the journey through the Alaskan wilderness, especially the amazing scenery and the bond between the characters and their dogs. The gameplay is simple but meaningful, and every decision feels important. I love how the game focuses on exploration, survival, and companionship rather than just action. The atmosphere and storytelling make the experience feel peaceful and memorable. If you enjoy cozy adventure games with beautiful environments and heartfelt moments, I highly recommend The Red Lantern. 🐺❄️❤️
A really sweet and cozy game, a beautiful and cute artstyle with a special feel to it. overall very enjoyable game, at least for the first few runs. however, for completionists it's not the best choice as filling the journal is entirely rng dependent (plus a glitch where in your first save you won't get a fishing rod, so make it to the house and then start a new save to not waste time if you haven't found the fishing rod). I'm close to completing it without anything but stubborness, but at least it's nice to look at still. TLDR: good for everyone, but completionists avoid
Simple effective game. Not very long but original, great ambiance, exciting but zen little game. I did enjoy it a lot! A dog lovers must :)
good
