Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Das Spiel ist an sich ganz cool, aber es wird relativ schnell sehr einseitig und monoton.

Just hit 100% completion, and the experience has been really enjoyable. Essentially it's an old-school GTA, but from the police side - and that shift alone changes how the whole genre feels. The camera isn't quite top-down, more like a high, semi-isometric third-person view. The gameplay is genuinely gripping, with a lot of attention paid to detail and procedure. At first the sheer number of options is impressive, but the game eases you into properly following the correct procedure for interacting with civilians and suspects. The campaign itself isn't long - I unlocked all achievements in about 21 hours. Big credit for the atmosphere: a great selection of recognizable 80s cars, the style, the music - it's all consistent and creates a world that's genuinely fun to get immersed in. The city feels alive and recognizable, not just a backdrop. There aren't really any cutscenes, but this isn't a AAA $80 title either, so that's fair enough. Shooting is somewhat simplified, but overall feels decent. Chases are dynamic and the mechanic is fun, plus you can call in backup. On the downside, there's some jank: it can be hard to target the right interaction option, for example aiming at a dropped piece of evidence instead of the suspect standing right next to it, or triggering the windshield-bail-out option instead of interacting with the car door. Controls are clearly built around a gamepad, which the devs are upfront about, but on keyboard you'll occasionally misclick options in the selection wheel even though they're numbered - it would be great if PC allowed picking options via number keys or numpad. Overall - a solid 8/10. Fully worth the money.
Fun game with a good story. Gameplay loop is so fun and always slightly chaotic. Car chases are by far the best type of crime to stop. Anyone on the fence about getting this game should 100% just try it, you'll love it.
Nice balance of police sim, arcade-style old school gameplay. I love it. Recommend!
There are relatively few good games in the modern era where you can play police, let alone procedurally competent games. In the 90s, Police Quest was good but buggy, and each edition came with its own graphical and programmatic problems that did little for immersion. LA Noire is as fantastical as it is groundbreaking, but in the decades following no other game has emphasized playing police in an organized and appealing way. The Precinct is fun, organized, and yet at the same time ensures that the restrictions of playing an active police officer do not impede progress or enjoyment. You can GTA with confidence, and as long as you avoid vehicular homicide, you do not have to drive in rigid lines. Shootouts result in the death of a thousand goons, but otherwise there would be no way to implement combat mechanics with satisfying engagement. Do I think it is possible to make a game with more rigid rules? Yes, but the Precinct has a hammy tone and a great gameplay loop while never taking itself too seriously. I am reminded of the original Flight Simulator, which was so dense and required so much knowledge of aerodynamics and physics that I felt stymied on the runway, let alone if I managed the right keyboard combo to get the thing in the air. The Precinct gives you the flavor of law enforcement while keeping it honest--this is a GAME, and the point is escapism. Is it occasionally clunky and distracting? Yes, the wild switch between a fleeing and eluding suspect with restraining force permitted to a gasping surrender where no force is allowed happens in seconds. Multiple suspects dashing in all directions may stimulate your partner's AI correctly or may result in points deducted because you couldn't be a quantum particle, in multiple places at the same point in time. Regardless, I recommend this game if you have a hankering to cosplay a cop, so long as you have a tolerance for chaos. Which in many ways is art imitating life, perfectly.
