About
The Outer Worlds 2 is the eagerly-awaited sequel to the award-winning first-person sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment (just look at the exciting number of dashes in this sentence!). Time to clear your calendar – get ready for an action-packed adventure with a new crew, new weapons, and new enemies in a new colony! So much newness!
As a daring and most likely good-looking Earth Directorate agent, you must uncover the source of devastating rifts threatening to destroy all of humanity. Your investigation leads to Arcadia, home of skip drive technology, where the fate of the colony, and ultimately the entire galaxy, rests on your decisions—your strengths, your flaws, your crew, and the factions you choose to trust.
The Arcadia colony is engulfed in a factional war, as the Protectorate’s so-called benevolent rule is challenged by the rebellion of their religious order and a corporate invasion. As destructive rifts spread across the colony, each faction fights to control or close them for their own ends. Navigate diverse zones, uncover hidden lore, and shape the fate of a system on the brink!
Build your character with the abilities and choices that reflect your playstyle. The colony reacts to your every move, crafting a narrative that’s yours to own—whether you’re a disciple of diplomacy, an astute strategist, a crusader for chaos, or something different altogether. And yes, you can dumb!
Recruit companions with unique traits, backgrounds and goals. Whether you choose to help them achieve their ambitions or steer them toward your own objectives, your influence shapes their growth (or death), making them an integral part of the immersive story you create together.

I wanted this to be good, for it to carry the fire the first one had. It just doesn't. It's not just the forced DEI lameness, the completely mid story, or them just reskinning all the creatures from the first game, the gameplay just doesn't feel fun. I've played 80 hours and I have zero interest in this game. It just isn't worth buying. The studio could have done so much, but they just phoned in a crap sequel.
Великолепная RPG с интересным сюжетом, шикарными диалогами и вариативностью. Не очень выглядит природа на первой планете, но это точно не может испортить впечатление от этой великолепной игры

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Très bon jeux, gunfight honnête, nerveux et scenario satyrique et cynique. J'avais peur mais ca vaut largement l'investissement sachant que je ne suis qu'à mi chemin. Obsidian est de retour.
awesome
Amazing Game!
Outer Worlds 1 felt rough, there were weirdly-angled edges all over it, and everything felt like it was imitating a better version of itself. There was a good skeleton under it all, but the odd texturing made it feel a little alien and uncomfortable in the hand. Outer Worlds 2 is a well-made version of Outer Worlds 1. The rough edges are smoothed out, the knots are massaged away, it feels good the whole way through. The writing is better, the characters have pull to them, the politics feel grounded but still well-flavoured. I don't want to sound like a redditor, but... yeah, Obsidian did it again. It's really good to see. ALSO: IT'S ACTUALLY FUNNY. It knows when to manage tension and when to keep things serious, so it actually manages to be funny pretty frequently.
its hard to downvote an obsidian game since Im the biggest new vegas stan you will ever find (check my hours) but, this one really just missed the mark. Im sorry to say, its boring. Im fine with games where dialogue is the focus if the dialogue is good but its just not with this game. I liked the original outer worlds, even though it had rough edges. But this is somehow just not engaging in the slightest. i couldn't bring myself to finish the game. maybe things will change with dlcs but for now i cant recommend this to anyone. Im autistic as ♥♥♥♥ and can watch a single hive drone beat metal for hours in Kenshi but this is somehow less engaging.
Fix the Save issue.
100% achievements on The Outer Worlds 2. The Outer Worlds 2 is a good game, but it's not as good as The Outer Worlds 1. I can't help to keep comparing OW2 to OW1, and most game changes made in OW2 were for the worse, unfortunately. I know this review is negative-leaning, but I need express my disappointments. Companions are by far my biggest issue and the biggest downgrade. 1) Less customization. You can't change your companions' weapons, armor, or attack strategy. Because I'm less responsible for their wellbeing, I feel less connected to them. 2) Backgrounds. The companions don't feel like their own distinct persons - they feel like extensions of the four factions. Feels like I'm dealing with factions spokespersons, not unique individuals. Second biggest issue is the Science weapons. The only good Science weapon (which happens to be S-tier) is The Big Bang. All other Science weapons are terrible. Every change done to the Shrink Ray from OW1 to OW2 was for the worse - far worse. Another issue is the limited perks behind skills. In OW1, the perks were pooled in player level tiers; you can mix-and-match a lot more. In OW2, almost all perks are locked behind skills. I can see the game aiming the perks to be more selective, but instead it feels more restrictive. And with the small level cap on top of that, OW2 feels that such less options are available to build your character. Related issue: feels like the Speech skill is required to have the best experience. In OW1, the there are 9 skill trees, and the final boss can be alternately defeated under 3 different maxed out skills, so 1/3 chance to avoid a tough fight. In OW2, there's 10 skill trees but only 1 can avoid the final boss tough fight, the Speech skill. Again, the vastly limited options. Another issue is locking out so many weapons and armor behind the Rift Modulator, which you get when you're 2/3 done with the game at the earliest. The pacing feels off: long slow start and progression, and then the game finally opens up.... but only after 3/4 finished with it. If you haven't played an Outer Worlds game, then you can still have a good time with The Outer Worlds 2. However, The Outer Worlds 1 is the better game in comparison.
