Un buon gioco se vi piacciono le avventure di questo tipo. Ambientazioni varie tutto in tinta macabra e horror gotico/occulta. Niente armi addosso o da usare ma 4 abilità che sbloccate durante il gioco che vi aiutano a risolvere degli enigmi, puzzle che finalmente non vi terranno per ore a decifrarne la soluzione. Niente oggetti da raccogliere sparsi dall'altro capo del mondo dove vi incazzerete perchè non ricordate assolutamente dove cavolo andavano posizionate. Per me è un plus. Voglio proseguirlo un gioco e non rimanere bloccato troppo a lungo. E' un'avventura dai ritmi lenti e ragionati ma senza risultare stucchevolemte difficile nei pur numerosi momenti in cui dovrete decifrare simboli o codici di porte o lucchetti. Ben bilanciato ma è chiaro deve piacervi il genere in primis. A me questo tipo di giochi piacciono. Una storia da svelare ma condita ovviamente da codici e meccanismi da sbloccare usando un minimo di cervello. La storia è buona ma secondo me fare un gioco tutto su quel motivo lì (niente spoiler) è un po' eccessivo o almeno il motivo scatenante l'ho trovato un po' di già visto e leggermente meh. Non ci avrei costruito tutta una storia attorno a quel motivo (ma il gioco ancora non l'ho terminato). E' in inglese con i sottotitoli in italiano. Hdr presente. Qualche jump scare ma niente di troppo spaventoso soprattutto se mangiate questi titoli a colazione pranzo e cena. Onesto! Fin'ora l'unica cosa che mi ha dato fastidio è una parte in cui devi girare delle statue e qualcosa (non spoilero) ti rompe i coglioni inseguendoti e prendendoti a picconate senza darti il tempo di poter fare le cavolo di manovre necessarie. Insomma sono quei tipo di giochi che amo fare per chillare a notte fonda dopo qualche sessione di sparatutto o semplicemente per svagarsi proprio perchè non è eccessivamente cervellotico. Dopo una giornata piena ci sta tutto.

The Occultiste est un jeu qui a de vraies qualités : il est agréable visuellement, les décors sont soignés, et l’ambiance fonctionne plutôt bien. Mais là où il m’a moins convaincu, c’est sur son identité. Présenté comme un jeu d’horreur, il ne fait pratiquement jamais peur, il ni a aucun jumpscares . L’histoire, de son côté, avait du potentiel, mais je n’ai jamais vraiment réussi à m’y attacher. J’ai compris les grandes lignes, mais la narration ne m’a pas suffisamment captivé. Ce qui m’a surtout fait avancer, c’était l’envie de résoudre les énigmes et de découvrir les différents lieux, plus que l’histoire elle-même. L’absence de carte et certaines mécaniques un peu bancales, notamment avec les pouvoirs et le boss de fin, ajoutent aussi de la frustration. Est-ce que je recommande le jeu ? Oui, si vous aimez les énigmes et les ambiances mystérieuses. Par contre, si vous cherchez un vrai jeu d’horreur, avec une tension constante, vous risquez d’être déçu. Pour moi, c’est un jeu qui mérite la moyenne grâce à son ambiance et à ses énigmes, mais qui ne m’a pas vraiment marqué. Ma note : 13 sur 20.

I highly recommend this game, if you like paranormal puzzles and have the VA of Geralt of Rivia be the protagonist again- this is definitely a must have. There are a lot of pro's to the game: - The story telling is smooth and concise, detailed - The journal is so nice appearance as you jump between story and investigation - The graphics are beautiful - The puzzles in some aspects are easy- BUT there's a lot of timing and out-maneuvering obstacles that makes it more challenging - The characters are well developed, and there were for me lots of unexpected twists and turns. - There are boss fights, but with you doing no actual fighting, it all relies on you either running or learning how to utilize things around you against your enemies. (Also reinforcing stealth is always a good option!) - The game adequately gets your adrenaline going or makes you a bit jumpy. This isn't my usual nor favorite genre of games, but I love a good mystery. My only wish for the game- - That there was a better system to tell you which part of the pendulum you need to choose. Some of it when I restarted- I couldn't figure out because some of it wasn't that obvious. Overall, the game was fantastic and it was worth every minute I played this game! ----- I know I have a lot of hours, but I had to restart several times as I missed a few things and I like to try and 100% the games I play in one fell swoop if I can.
I can't really suggest this game. I thought it would be better than it was and was looking forward to it. I mean it's not awful, but the story is kind of dumb. The ghosts don't really pose much of a threat. I mainly just don't get what this guy's job is.
The Occultist ist ein Meisterwerk von einem Horror/Explorer Spiel und macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Ich bin anhand der Vorhandenen Bildern mit grosser Freude in das Spiel eingetaucht und wurde nicht endtäuscht. Die Story des Spiels ist sehr düster und Spannend. Anfangs wird man in das kalte Wasser geworfen, aber umso mehr Fortschritt man macht, desto mehr versteht man die Story. Es wird einem schnell klar, dass nicht alles was Böse ist, böse sein will. Die Story hat mich ca 6.5h gekosted und ich habe auch ohne krampfhaftes Suchen, fast alle Collectibles gefunden. Das Gameplay ist simpel und sehr gut. Mit dem Amulett werden Rätsel gelöst, Objekte aufgedekt und vieles mehr (Kein Spoilern). Die Mischung aus erkundung mit hammer Atmosphäre bis hin zu den Nerfen aufreibenden Chase Momenten sind sehr gut durchdacht. Es wird nie langweilig und nie hat man das Gefül von grosser Sicherheit. Wie bereits erwähnt macht das Spiel auch im Bereich Sound alles richtig, Die Atmospähre wird durch diverse Geräusche und unheimlichem Soundtrack sehr gut an das Settting angepasst und sorgt für ein unangenehmes Gefühl. Alles in allem ein sehr sehr gelungenes Horror Spiel. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Manche Entwickler können sich hier eine Scheibe abschneiden. Auch Indie games können ein Niveau eines Tripple A Spieles haben. Für mich ganz klar eines der Besten Horror Games 2026. Wer Horror mag. Ein must Play
