Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 26 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Three months ago, Celestial Stones Research (CSR) abruptly shut down their massive excavation beneath the Great Pyramid. CSR officials openly acknowledge the discovery of colossal pillars beneath the great pyramids, but insist the site was closed strictly due to a lack of resources. Unofficial reports from local authorities tell a different story: something terrible happened down there.
One month after the site was sealed, ambitious freelance reporter Alex Levine went there to uncover the truth. He never returned.
Now, authorities have recovered his belongings. Among them is a single, heavily degraded VHS tape documenting his final hours.
The footage is extremely disturbing. You are strongly advised not to watch it.
But you will anyway.

Respectfully, this game is dog water. Finished the whole game in less than an hour. There were zero jump scares. There was always something that signaled when a "monster", if you can even call it that, appeared. You have obviously paid previous reviewers to oversell this game. The VHS aspect was cool, but that's about it. I could have my six year old child beat this game in the same time it took me. Please don't waste your money on this game. Do better. Thank you.
Really short game that might have been more enjoyable if there were some good jumpscares or creature kills but unfortunately the extent of it is mummies or Anubis chasing you and hitting you a few times to have you collapse. The battery depleting rapidly is a major annoyance with this game though fortunately Egyptian tombs are noted for their plentiful stock of batteries so running out is unlikely as there aren't many side paths to check out but that damn beeping when the battery is low gets tiresome fast. Doors also require you to wait until they're fully pulled up otherwise they slam shut in a split second which is also tedious. Can't recommend this one - if you're after something in this style Amenti is the better option.

I just beat the game, a super trippy cool realistic horror game taking place in a pyramid full of mummies and pharaoh ghosts. Make your way through haunted crypts, ancient Egyptian pyramids running from mummies, having fun and experiencing the magic of the deep secrets inside the Egyptian pyramids. 10/10 game
Good amount of menu settings. Option to disable head bob. Turn down breathing. Mouse and gamepad inversion. Didn't notice key bind though. Endless stamina. Is it short? Yes. I thought it was pretty sick though. Felt like I was in a tomb. It could seem sorta linier? Yet there are some branching paths to investigate. Price vs playtime may be hard to swallow. If the developer expands on this, or adds achievements. It would garner another playthrough. Anyway. Good for quick stream. Nice moments of tension. 9/10
if you want to run through the same hallways and across the same plank of wood a bunch of times for 20 minutes, this is the game for you
2026, no mouse invertion. Really? Also, some more optimization would be nice, game is heavy to load and heavy to play. EDIT: Developer was fast to respond and released hotfix to address mouse invertion. Also promised to look for the heavy load on the GPU. Well done!
Very much an exciting and tension-filled experience. Gameplay was easy to pick up and the found footage style was nailed pretty well. It could do with being a bit longer, as I completed it in under an hour. Also, the ending is confusing as it is quite abrupt and jarring. Felt more like a demo than the full thing.
For 2 euros if you like found footage horrors its a good game for 2 to 3 runs.
For an unexplained reason, I keep dying when I try to go past the first activated door which you hold the handle for. Since there's no manual save, I have to go through the same beginning of the game (minus the intro) to try and figure out how not to die. Very frustrating. If the developer made this game alone, I commend you for getting this far. However, the game could use manual saves and a bit more cueing (assuming there's something I'm missing). I see that you're very responsive so I hope you could prove me with some feedback on that. I can't recommend this game at the moment since this part makes it not fun at all.
Saw this on my recommended. I'll be 100% honest as I know the creator would want the players to be... It's scary... Don't get me wrong, it genuinely is creepy - but it lacks depth. The creeks and cracks are great for ambience but they're overshadowed by the should of fuzzy VHS sounds and breathing. I had to turn down the VHYS and breathing sounds as it almost ruined the atmosphere. By all means, keep them in there, just make them a little less "in your face". Also, add difficulty levels, or take way the feature that you can get hit multiple times, because it makes the game 10x more eerie knowing that you're one swipe away from being done over! Ambience:- 6.5/10. Fear:- 7/10. Gameplay:- 9/10. Overall:- Solid 8.5/10.
