Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Even though it's a bit heavy on cheap jump-scares, this game is a fun, yet spooky game that you can easily pick up and put down between shifts, Will play again!

I expected a lot more from this game across the board after seeing so many people recommend it. Honestly, it feels more confusing than actually good. The tutorial and the game itself are extremely vague, and it takes way too long just to figure out what's going on. The horror elements aren't that scary or interesting, and they get repetitive super fast. It honestly reminds me of that SpongeBob meme with the Flying Dutchman. Overall, I don't recommend this game. 5/10
A [Mediocre] creepy/horror game. The horror elements are good (diminished by
the fact that can't die, you can just ignore it
), and the game is rather short (30-60 minutes) with different (
6
endings. Each run further reveals the story. The gameplay stays the same, is rather simplistic, and clunky. However, it is not that important unless you are going to check out all the endings and get the full story. If you like horror, or the price is not that important, then the game is worth checking out and beating it at least once.
omg did this game horrify me, very very scary or the most scary game i have ever endured.
This game is crazy. Extremely unnerving the entire playthrough.

★★★★★ The Mortuary Assistant is one of the most intense and unforgettable horror experiences I’ve ever played. The premise alone is chilling: alone with the dead, embalming corpses late at night while something sinister lurks in the shadows. From the very first shift, the atmosphere wraps around you like a cold fog. The silence, the subtle sounds, and the feeling that you’re never truly alone make every moment incredibly immersive. What makes this game stand out is how it blends realistic mortuary tasks with supernatural horror. You’re not just running from monsters—you’re carefully inspecting bodies, completing embalming procedures, and searching for subtle clues to identify the demon hiding among them. The gameplay forces you to pay attention to every detail, which builds tension in the smartest way possible. Every decision feels important, especially when you’re trying to figure out which body to burn to stop the haunting. The scares are brilliantly executed. Instead of relying only on loud jump scares, the game builds psychological fear. Lights flicker, doors move, and you catch glimpses of things that may or may not be there. The hauntings feel unpredictable, and the presence of demons, ghouls, and disturbing visions keeps you constantly on edge. Even when nothing is happening, you feel like something could at any second. The multiple endings add huge replay value. Depending on how well you investigate, whether you identify the correct demon, or if you make the wrong choice, the outcome changes dramatically. Sometimes you save your soul. Sometimes you don’t. That uncertainty makes every playthrough intense and personal, and it encourages you to try again to uncover more of the story. Overall, The Mortuary Assistant is a masterclass in atmospheric horror. It combines methodical gameplay, deep tension, and terrifying supernatural elements into an experience that sticks with you long after you turn it off. If you love horror games that challenge your nerves and your mind, this is an absolute must-play.
In diesem Sinne, habt Spaß :)
