I like dwarfs :)
Pretty good, if you're looking for a comparison: It's underground Valheim with a LOTR skin and a campaign mode. The respect for the lore (fully bearded women) and the little touches, like a Dwarven mining song you can sing if you mine consistently, are what make this game worth playing. Doubt there's much here for non-LOTR fans - or at least people who don't appreciate Dwarves just for being Dwarves - those people would probably be better off in Enshroud.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I did not enjoy any part of this. It was a lesson in frustration from the combat mechanics to the building only being in certain locations as fast travel points and limited to 4 directions. It did not live up to my expectation of what it could have and should have been.
es dauert irrsinnig lange bis man alle sachen eines sets zusammen hat, und man muss dafür jede kleinste ecke des spieles durchforsten
Amazing game.
Very immersive, great game!
It is fun
Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria looks pretty unremarkable at first glance. Unless you’re a big LOTR fan, it probably won’t draw you in right away. But that’s misleading... because it’s actually a really solid and competent survival crafting game, focused mainly on exploration and combat. Base building is there as a bonus... you can make some nice setups... but with the limited number of building pieces compared to other games, it’s clearly not the main focus. Exploration is a big part of Return to Moria... especially in the giant Sandbox Mode maps. Sadly, the game just doesn’t have enough room variety. Even though Sandbox adds a few new rooms beyond Campaign Mode... it doesn’t help much. It doesn’t take long before you start recognizing the same layouts over and over again. That sense of repetition hits pretty quickly when running through Moria. To be fair, other games have the same issue. In Valheim, the open world hides repetition better... but once you start entering Tombs, Crypts, Caves, or Putrid Holes... it hits just as hard. Those don’t have much variation either. Combat feels unusual at first, especially if you’re coming from games like Valheim, which lean heavily into “Soulslike” mechanics with perfect parries, combat rolls, and strict stamina management. Return to Moria takes a different approach. It’s more about positioning and awareness. Enemies like Goblins, Orcs, and Uruk-hai... they don’t come alone. They swarm you, surround you, and attack from multiple angles. You have to read the situation... decide when to attack and when to reposition. Combat feels different from most survival crafting games, but it works... and it’s genuinely fun. Stamina feels less restrictive, mainly used for running, dodging, and charged attacks, but that doesn’t make it any less intense because your Dwarf can get tired and that reduces the overall stamina pool you have available. There’s definitively a solid challenge to be found here. Overall, I can recommend Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria. It is a slow, methodical game that is very fun to play. That said... most of the cosmetic DLC isn’t worth their price if you buy them full price. If you can catch them on a discount they are ok to buy.
