The world’s collapse and the origins of the Infected are still being developed. For now, the focus is on survival systems and giving players freedom in how they play.
The Infected is in active Early Access development. Some features are still being added and balanced, and you may encounter bugs or performance issues. We’re a small team building this game with the help of community feedback. If you’re looking for a complete experience, you may wish to wait. However, if you want to help shape the development, we welcome you now!
The aim is to deliver a feature-rich survival crafting game with more systems and player choice than most of the genre. Survival can mean farming, base-building, or facing hostile AI — the choice is yours.

First let me start with the positive. This game is fun, after watching kage848 play for years I decided to buy the game when it had a sale. Its not a game your content to just watch a play-through and enjoy as a 3rd party. You'll want to join in yourself. The developer is competent, good listener, although I question his key-bind ideas. He has changed many things based on community feedback. If you want game play, see Kage848s stuff. But basically in a similar lane to 7 days to die, but with more focus on crafting, and building, rather than combat. And the negative.. The controls are annoying to learn, only certain things and be changed and the ones that can't are the most offensive to use. The settings are minimalist as best, and bare-bones at worst. You'll need 3rd party software to tell if your settings are too much, since this game has no frame rate counter, no V-ram estimate, or recommendation for your card/V-ram. There are no settings for lighting, shadows, or water. All of which are known to cause performance issues on low-end hardware. Finally, the only way to interact with certain objects is to first press 'E' then do whatever it was you wanted with the object. This sounds nit-picky, but when you have 5 forges your're trying to load, or unload, or water your trying to move around, this gets old fast. Green Hell is a good example of a good interaction system that allows the player to interact without needing the extra button press. Overall a good game, that needs a little bit of polish to bring out the shine. It runs well on low end hardware...depending on your definition, my rx580 needed a drop across the board to get good performance.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is legit the most horrible zombie trash i have ever played graphics are awful the map is boring and empty the AI is trash some zombies throw rocks? like why? i get it's still early access but this is horrible and will never become much with such a horribly small map 0 story and zombies that don't match the games graphics there's no life to this game just a bunch of assets from the unity shop slopped together to make a copycat vein
Have played for 238 hours. I like best the customization options. You can decide difficulty by determining if you want predators and how many zambies you want to encounter and where. You can turn zambies off altogether if you just want to build. I personally like to fight things, so I enjoy the enemy customization options. Construction is straight forward, and while there aren't as many building pieces as other games, it is enough. I like the progress in available workbenches. Finding technology is a bit of a grind, but you can turn off technology requirements if you like. Critique: I would like to see more of a variety in enemies. I have encountered 3 or 4 zambie types and it would be nice if there more. Also, more variety in zambie attacks would be nice. They are pretty predictable, which is good if you want your game easier, but not so good if you want a little more difficulty.
The defining thing here for me is the ability to turn the vambies off. I LOVE the survival aspect of the game but I am not someone that can deal with the very scary vampire zombies lol. I love the mechanics of this game and the look of it so much! I do wish there were more instructions on how the power and water and such works because I've found myself having to google a bunch, but it's usually decently easy to find information so at least there's that!
I find the game very soothing when i am building my base and creating my own designs. Best game for anyone above 26 years of age and dont want to be on edge during gaming
Basically 7dtd but way more confusing and needless ... best of luck guys
This game is a broken pile of dung. The foundations are interesting but the game mechanics are trash. Just to name a few. You can make clothes unless you have a loom. You cant get a loom unless you go to a POI. You can't go to a POI unless you have clothing (you freeze). You can't It's a no win scenario. Same thing with healing items. Same thing with the vehicles.
I just enjoy it for the hunting/camping/building/crafting aspects. I turn off all enemies except wildlife but I include predators, fun for me anyway.
This game looked good, but the way it plays leaves alot to be desired. You got hurt and need to heal? Good luck because you cant do that until you unlock a med kit. O wait you have a bandage? kool me too and you can only use it if your bleeding not hurt, and the other bandage is for infected damage. plus my spear broke in 7 swings? naw let this game cook another 5 years.
