Reviews
This is one of the best narrative detective games I have played. The writing in the game is great. Characters feel like actual people with their own motivations and goals. The pace at which the game feeds you information is just right. If you're stuck somewhere, there is usually something else to explore and progress with. The game's narrative itself is clever and has many twists and turns. It goes to some very unexpected places but manages to make everything feel coherent. The ending I received in my first playthrough felt rewarding and had a strong emotional payoff. Praise aside, the game suffers most when it relies on mechanical gameplay. Using the bow or even sprinting and jumping around feels floaty and janky. I'm not sure why these aspects were kept when the game was ported from a Skyrim mod to a standalone game. Speaking of jank, I encountered a soft-lock scenario in the game when the golden rule triggered while I was confined to a quest building and had to use the godmode cheat to progress. As a result, I missed some critical dialogue completely and had to seek it out on YouTube. I can forgive this as a minor annoyance in an otherwise fantastic game, though.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I find it silly how you asked if he is speaking english at the start then he says that we are both speaking latin even though it's clearly english. The devs should either remove that dialogue option or put the game with latin voice language

A really good game! It doesn't seem like much at first glance, but there is a great story hidden beneath the janky first impression. You're stuck in a time loop in what seems to be a small Roman village, and someone is about to commit a sin that will kill everyone there, you included. You need to prevent this from happening. Nobody has found a way to escape this place. You'll meet 23 characters, they're all well written and voice acted. The mood, music, architecture, etc fit the Roman setting perfectly. It also teaches you a ton of accurate history, especially different religions from the time and their gods. The gameplay is mostly figuring out everyone's motives and problems, so that you can come up with some kind of an idea of what is happening. Tons of dialogue is ahead of you. It's no Planescape: Torment where you could end up conversing with characters for an extreme length of time, but there are deep subjects and depth with certain characters. For some reason this was recommended to me in a bundle with Pathologic 2 (which I already have played a long time ago), and I can see the resemblance at times, especially in the way that the characters are telling lies and you need to think for yourself. Can't believe everything. People also remember what you've said and done so you have to think what you're clicking in dialogues. It is way easier and more chill than Pathologic, but the fans of that series will find a lot to love here for sure.

Really good.
