Developed by Shinji Mikami -- creator of the seminal Resident Evil series -- and the talented team at Tango Gameworks, The Evil Within embodies the meaning of pure survival horror. Highly-crafted environments, horrifying anxiety, and an intricate story are combined to create an immersive world that will bring you to the height of tension.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 9/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

absolute garbage game, played offline. all of the marketing material make it seem like old school resident evil or at least something interesting like the first Alan Wake. but I boot this up only to find out it's basically the most lazy implementation of a stealth game with a horror wrapper, and the story is completely absent, just jumps from one scene to the other. it's eventually explained in typical eastern gaming fashion (meaning very little payoff and a lot of confusing jumbled mess and hanging plot threads). Heavily relies on shock factor and obtuse storytelling to give the illusion of a decent story, but there's just nothing here beyond frustration and cheap deaths, not even the story can save the gameplay. The game controls like absolute ass, you have the stamina of a 80 year old chain smoker with a missing lung. Seems like the developers have never played a video game in their lives and just had a sketchbook full of random ideas.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The game in some ways resembles Silent Hill 2. The concept is quite similar, with both characters being trapped in a world filled with monsters that reflect the memories and trauma of the person influencing that world. The gameplay was dreadful in a way that wasn't necessarily positive, but also wasn't entirely negative. Throughout the whole game, you don't have a single smidge of an idea of what is going on. The constant transitions from one place to another make the story even more difficult to comprehend. The bosses are actually challenging, which I really enjoyed, and despite the prolonged wait to understand what is happening, the story itself is really good. Once everything starts coming together, the confusion feels more worthwhile.
bought the game cause Proxidist called it a "masterpiece" after finishing it, the game was just "okay", 7 out of 10 at most

Muy buen juego para sobrevivir con los recursos que te dan, ya tiene su tiempo el juego, le hace falta mods para corregir compatibilidad con win11
Is it weird to say this game is nostalgic to me? I remember this game to be the first horror game I saw. The wee lass I was was terrified yet morbidly captivated by that trailer at the game store. Blood rushing through the corridor, barbed wire zombies, big ol' safe head, "Why would anyone want to play a scary game?" I thought. It was then that my taste for horror sprouted. About a decade later I finally get around to play it myself, and it's as bloody, barbed wirey, and safe heady as I remember it to be. Monster designs are memorable, story is good. Voice acting is excellent, I can say that much for both English and French. The JANK is undeniable. Gives me a few wrinkles to say it but the game quite old. But honestly I think it's charming. The ragdoll physics at 60 fps will give you a couple laughs I guarantee you. And yes some of it will cause frustration but it won't outright ruin your experience as some below would suggest. One genuine complaint I have however is the lack of proper mouse and keyboard support. To be expected from an old game destined for consoles. You can rebind key only through a config file.
we need a third pronto... Im sick of mf just sitting on IP... great game franchise shinji mikami knows what he is doing just hand him the keys and let him cook.
No puede ser que este juego aun este todo bugueado, paso, aunque el juego sea bueno simplemente pediré el reembolso, una lastima que le hayan puesto tan poco cariño luego de sacarlo
