Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.29/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
It's Morrowind, there is nothing you have to know.
I stopped playing my steam copy after I started using OpenMW, so my playtime is probably closer to 250 than just 50 hours. Its an older title now and does take some getting used to. Its easy to make the game a breeze by playing optimally and minmaxxing but if you really do like the game you'll find yourself wanting to stay as weak as possible to fully immerse yourself as your character. I never really roleplay in my roleplaying games but Morrowind has always gotten me into the frame of mind my specific character would be in, whether it be planning supplies for a trip or deciding what quest rewards to keep I always think not as myself but as the character I play.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This is still one of Bethesda's greatest gems. It is one of the only open worlds with true tabletop RPG class builders. Even though many hate chance rolls, it really does add another layer to class building. Dodge chance, spell chance, and attributes really make the 3 domains of stealth, melee, and magic progress differently, and there are things a character of that archetype will have that the others never will. Like a max melee will have the most health since endurance grants more health the earlier you spec into it, and you can wear the Daedric armor set and not be encumbered. Sleath skills somewhat work when your character specs into it, dodge chance is a good plus for high agility characters, and mages can have an insane level of utility spells. Unlike actual table tops, though, it still has the Bethesda Elder Scrolls formula of get better by doing. Even if a character sucks at progressing a skill with a low chance, there is a chance for them to master everything. This is also the only Elder Scrolls game with real opposing factions like Fallout. The game's quests and lore are written on the same level; they don't really dumb down the setting like in Skyrim just to make the quests more accessible. The factions have real intrigue and ambitions, only really seen since Fallout: New Vegas for Bethesda Games' writing. Fast travel is a good system. It costs money, and there is also public transport between all the major settlements. There is even an obelisk that teleports you as a reward for those who clear dungeons. The Roads, road signs, maps, journals, and landmarks are actually important for completing your quests. The way a character can speed up non-fast travel is very unique, too. High Athletics, high speed, high acrobatics, potions that boost movement, scrolls that boost movement, enchanted items you make that let you fly, casting spells like water walk, fly, water breath, and mark teleport add an insane choice of traversal. Money is also a key resource in this game; enchanting, potions, and fast travel all cost money. Money is also integral for bribes and training. Many of these systems are unique to Morrowind, and you find them in any other Bethesda game. The character models are a bit dated, but the world and building textures are still great at showing you different cultures in this game. I recommend playing with higher-res texture mods. Some dark elves live in stucco adobe, others in giant mushrooms, other basic wood and stone structures, and the Elites on the coast live in ziggurats above the water. The humans also have a distinct style with a medieval fortress and cottages. The capital Ebonheart is a human colony with dark elven elites living there. The native dark elves called ashlanders are nomads that live in tents in ash lands, and the beast races live in shacks on marshy platations. The world shows so many races and classes without having to look at a wiki. It's hard to even generalize how divided the elite dark elves are, too. It is a weird Bethesda open-world strength.
