Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Morrowind is, in my opinion, an absolutely essential title for both fans of The Elder Scrolls, and fantasy/RPG fans in general. I was introduced to The Elder Scrolls when I played Skyrim for the first time, which I think was many of my generation's first introduction to this series. How glad I was when I looked back at previous entries in the series. Morrowind is my favorite Elder Scrolls game, partly because of the absolutely insane lore, partly because the skills system is more complex, partly because of all of the different classes of weapons. Suffice it to say that there's a lot I could say about this game, all of it I'm sure has been said many times before. JUST PLAY THIS GAME. NOW.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

orc, unarmored, blunt weapons. level 25 and still haven’t start the main quest
Morrowind has it all. An excellent main quest, lots of factions which have their own interesting questlines. No lame fast travel system of later TES games, but instead silt striders and boats which serve as Morrowind's ''fast travel system'', teleporting services offered by the Mage's Guild, the Mark/Recall spells where you ''mark'' a spot you want to ''recall'' yourself later on. You can also use scrolls and items that have the Mark and Recall spells in them. Then there are the Divine/Temple Intervention spells and scrolls that teleport you to the nearest Imperial Cult/Tribunal Temple shrine. Traversing the world is also made faster and easier by Levitation, Water Walking and simply increasing your Speed and Acrobatics possibly turning you into a Highjumping Speed Demon. Of course you can always just make your character a Breton and find yourself the Boots of Blinding Speed xD. I'm ranting about this topic because I think the way you can move around in Morrowind is so robust and well done. I also appreciate the fact that Morrowind does not hold your hand the way Oblivion and Skyrim do. For example, there are no quest markers. Therefore, simply finding a location or an item can feel rewarding in a way doing those things in TES IV and V cannot replicate. After all, Oblivion and Skyrim always tell you where everything is. Another thing that I really like about Morrowind is its atmosphere. For me, that comes from its combination of music, the feeling of randomly stumbling upon some secret lair (amongst other things), reading interesting in-game books and the visuals of the game world. Morrowind is of course, an old game and thus it simply cannot look as good as some of the modern games, but I just adore how the developers put together places like Balmora, Vivec City and Ald-ruhn not to mention the models of the various creatures. Morrowind to me is ruggedly beautiful. The way the atmosphere changes from the silly feeling I can get while jumping around Vivec City compared to the oppressiveness of skulking in a daedrid ruin was also masterfully done. Play with a high enough difficulty setting and the game wants you to think how to go about things. You gotta plan ahead at least a little bit. You can't just fast travel around quickly completing quest after quest Oblivion-style. I like Oblivion and Skyrim by the way. Last but not least is the lore that appears in different forms in Morrowind. It is the most captivating lore I've ever come across in a video game. Part of that lore is Morrowind's main villain who happens to be among my favorite villains of all time. I'm not gonna go into detail about the lore for the same reason I didn't go into detail about the main quest and the faction quests and my favorite places in the game. I think everyone should experience those themselves for the first time.

"Theres only two types of games. Morrowind and non-Morrowind" Ancient wisdom
Morrowind is the best thing ever created by Bethesda, and anything they release from this point onwards will not even come close. Anyone who says Morrowind hasn't aged well is a coward. Lack of fast travel and quest markers, being "forced" to read, having to respect the fact that Morrowind is an RPG and your character, build, and skills ACTUALLY MATTER; these things are not detrimental to anyone above 90 IQ. In fact, it is these traits that make Morrowind such an amazing and immersive experience.

My favourite kind of JANK Usually when I meet people who like TES I ask them "Oblivion or Morrowind?" when the answer is "Oblivion" I end the conversation.
