Mick Carter's been drifting a while now- moving from job to job, never staying one place long. Jumping a box-car to his old home town, he witnesses a violent murder, is pursued by hi-tech soldiers, thrown in a reservoir and drowned.
And that's just the start of Mick's problems.
His consciousness ripped away, thrust back into his own body seconds before his death...

The Drifter is our take on a classic 2d point and click adventure, with the brake-lines cut. The focus is on fast-paced storytelling, with puzzle-solving being the glue that ties it together. Mick's a practical guy, and so puzzles are down-to-earth too, designed to be unobtrusive, and give an investigative feel.
We're keeping the pacing quick and lean, you'll never be wandering around lost or confused- Mick is propelled through the story at a good clip, from one situation to another, with barely a moment to catch his breath. One minute you'll be crafting a Molotov cocktail from a bottle of over-proof rum, the next interrogating a crooked neurosurgeon before swinging from a high-rise window by a fraying extension lead.

Possibly one of the best point n click adventure games i have ever played. A real masterpiece
It's been a long time where a point and click game got me hooked. The voice actors in this game are really good.
Absolutely amazing game and experience and will be something I highly encourage others to play. The storytelling, the characters, the voice acting, the setting, etc... all these things came together came together to make a fantastic sci-fi horror point and click adventure.
Bonne technique, excellents dialogues et doublages, bonne BO, ambiance dure mais avec des moments de respiration salutaires. Quelques énigmes limitées dans le temps, mais pas complexes, elles servent juste à faire monter la tension. Pour ce qui est du scénario il progresse bien tout le long des ~8 heures de jeu, pour rester captivant et être de plus en plus interéssant. Beaucoup de petites améliorations QoL (double clic pour changer immédiatement de tableau, on entre et sort des dialogues de façon instantanée). Au final, un excellent point'n click, je conseille les yeux fermés.

This is such a brilliant game. It kept me hooked from start to finish and I loved every single moment I spent playing it. The graphics are stunning as they perfectly capture the atmosphere and mystery of this world and the voice acting is the cherry on top. The voice actor did an incredible job bringing the character to life. The story is amazing and I loved everything about this game. Overall, it's a perfect game if you're into mystery thrillers like I am. As you've made it this far fancy a cuppa? ;^)
