Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The Coin Game is a fun-filled arcade adventure on an island packed with ticket games, quirky robots, and endless activities. Explore realistic arcades with machines inspired by modern favorites and swap your tickets for prizes at redemption areas. Head to Larry's Arcade to jam with animatronics Teddy and the Ticket Eaters, or try UFO Arcade's space-themed games, Laser Tag, and Indoor Go-Karting. Don’t miss the ‘90s-style indoor mall with its own arcade, food court, shops, and even a cinema to watch your own movies. Just watch out for the minions – they’re big fans of Teddy and can challenge you in Laser Tag! Looking for more adventure? Make a splash at Lenny's WaterPark or show your skills at mini-golf and RC boat racing at pirate-themed One Eyed Billie’s. And don’t forget the Traveling Carnival with 20+ classic games, rides, and new prizes.
For a challenge, Survivor Mode lets you start with limited funds. Keep an eye on your health and energy (right on your wristwatch) by grabbing food around the island. Jerry’s got the healthy stuff if you can afford it, but junk food’s always cheap!
Run out of money? Scavenge dumpsters, hop on your bike and deliver newspapers around the island, or hit up the Pawn Shop to sell extra prizes. Otherwise you might have to beg Uncle Phil for some extra allowance!
If you just want to relax, activate Birthday Mode and live the good life with unlimited cash courtesy of Uncle Phil. Play however you like and enjoy your time at the arcades! Fill your belly with soda pop and cheesy poofs leaving sticky fingerprints on over 50 different games and machines.
There are plenty of ways to travel around the island. Take the bus, your very own golf cart, bike or Mom's van. Or maybe walk to burn all that fast food you just had at the mall. Be careful though, there is lots of highway traffic and tourist activity on the island so make sure to keep off the roads.
You can play The Coin Game with any mouse, keyboard or any Dual stick/pad controller. The game includes an easy to use key mapping system to support virtually any controller or peripheral. So you can play The Coin Game any way that you like.

This is a 10/10 game. BUT, The game was so good until the original developer, allowed a third-party team to rebuild the game engine which came out as V1.0. This is where everything went downhill, V1.0 caused the following: extreme Performance issues- random game breaking bugs- I cannot even figure out how to change my graphic settings anymore. The original developer is working to fix all the problems. I hope things get better moving forward.
Ruined with the full release... Go back and play the legacy version. + The underage girl character looking like that is really a p*rvy choice and makes me genuinely uncomfortable.

the 1.0 update ruined the game, wish it was still the old version
What Happen!? The game was great a year ago when the dev was solo, now at 1.0 it seems sputtery and the movement glitchy. Bummer.
This game is absolutely amazing. $15 to not have to gamble hundreds of real life dollars is a great deal.
EDIT: Game is still broken, dev has been radio silent two months, under no circumstances should you buy this game. Leaving the old review for, idk what. ******* Welp, I guess it had to happen. The inevitable "This game was great in early access, but 1.0 ruined it." I would like to thank the Dev for adding a branch so people can access the old build still, that's honestly great. And I don't really blame them for this, since it sounds like this is more publisher meddling. I think half of the backlash is coming from calling it 1.0. Because, okay, a new update comes out and there's bug and stuff, it's a small game from, I'm pretty sure, a one person dev team. Understandable and inevitable. But this is supposed to be 1.0. And I hate doing this, because I love this game and I can see the passion that's been poured into it. And the new content looks great and I really want to enjoy it, but as is, the game is just really off kilter. Hopefully things get straightened out over the next few weeks and I can come back to see the game working properly again, at which point I'd happily recommend the game to people again. But as is, it's pretty busted and I hate to see that from a game I've had a lot of fun with.
I don't care if it gets multiplayer, because this game is my ESCAPE from other people.
It is exactly what it looks like: an arcade simulator where you can play virtual arcade games pretty darn similar to the ones you'd find at Dave n Busters. There's no overarching story or time-sensitive mission system, just you and arcades. There's lots of variety to the arcade games, and the prizes are adorable. If you want more bite to your game, you can activate a Survival mode that requires you to earn money for the arcades (instead of getting it for free whenever you want) with odd jobs and you need to eat every once in a while to prevent starvation. There's something for everyone in this game! :D
shame. Can't recommend in this current state. Seems like the dev got screwed by people he trusted but the product suffered. Hoping for a fix and continued development one day so this can go back to a thumbs up but I need to go with whether I would actually recommend someone buy the product which at this time is probably not, despite all the things I had been enjoying about it prior to where we are now.
