Любите ближнего своего, вдруг он вкусный.
Y'know, if the story had been written by somebody capable of taking the subject matter seriously (or at least, someone who wasn't developing with one hand the entire time if you know what I mean,) this game could have been good. It feels like the dev team swerved way, way too far towards making the game a giant "F-you" to their detractors around chapter 3 and only goes downhill from there. The soundtrack slaps and the art is cute, at least. Not worth $11.99 though.

Alright. This game is really misunderstood. This game DOES have very disturbing scenes and subjects that I won't spoil here even though you probably know about it. This game IS going to make you frown, sigh and shake your head. But it is intended, and it is absolutely amazing at doing it. First, I feel like some things could've been made better. The story is great, but it could've been taken more seriously, darker and deeper. I also feel like there's no actual mental sanity downhill slope for Andy and Leyley, even with the flashbacks. It really feels like they were always that weird since they were kids, that could've been a good arc and I feel like the flashbacks have wasted potential. I also think getting away with all they did was too easy. There's not enough tension in my opinion. Now... The story is dark, it's obvious from the very beginning of the gameplay. The graphics are simple, you walk a whole lot during the game, you have some funny puzzles, and the soundtrack is amazing and fits the game just right. The save system is a bit weird IMO, but it's fine. You constantly switch between Andy and Leyley, having different povs at time when necessary. There are different endings, depending on the choices you make. Now skip this paragraph to avoid spoils : //And yes, there IS a scene where it clearly shows them both kissing, and even going further (nothing explicit shown, just a description).// But all of this is a matter of choices, and most importantly, it carries a message. Stop looking at this game for JUST a weird sibling "fantasy" bait or whatever, and just play the game. Pay attention to the story, definitely put your morality aside for a bit, and enjoy.

heh
The only game that has ever made me feel physically sick, so make of that what you will. I went in expecting a weird little psychological horror game and came out needing to stare at a wall for a bit. It starts as dark comedy, but the more routes/endings you see, the more genuinely uncomfortable it gets. The writing carries it. Andrew and Ashley are horrible, funny, fascinating, and deeply broken in a way that makes you want to stop playing and keep clicking at the same time. Not for everyone, especially if disturbing themes or toxic relationships put you off, but if you want psychological horror that actually makes you uncomfortable, it does its job. Cursed game. Good game. I need a shower.
