Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I raeally struggled to choose whether i reccomend this game or not. This is "we have dead space at home" the game. It takes more than inspiration, it essentially rips off the entire playbook. Thats not a bad thing, I love this style of 3rd person action horror game. Dead space 1 & 2 are the GOAT. I picked up callisto protocol on mega sale with all its dlc for i think $10. The game is incredibly short. It took me just under 30 hours ONLY because i played on the hardest difficulty and boy is it hard. Had i not, it would be taken half the time. I cant imagine having paid $60 plus dlc. it would have felt like an utter rip off. You essentially need the last transmission dlc to actually get an ending to the story. The gameplay leans HEAVILY into melee where every single unit is this back and forth dance of dodging and attacking. It turned off so many others. I enjoyed it alot. I enjoyed the challenge. Its definitely unique. I understand why so many wouldnt like it. My biggest gripe is that o the hardest difficulty it is borderline unplayable. You get barely any credits for upgrades, which zaps alot of the fun from the game ebcause you are introduced to more weapons but you will NEVER get to upgrade them to see their full potential. And the entire game you are able to fight every creature in melee but there is a mini boss type creature you fight 3 times that is IMPOSSIBLE to kill only melee. It is one of the worst design decisions ive encountered in a game. I had to back track saves twice because i simply did not have the ammo forcing me to replay hours of over again. The story is a 4/10. it starts off very intruignig and just devolves over the course of the playthrough. None of the characters are ineresting, motives dont make any sense, and nonsensical ♥♥♥♥ happens all the time. Dead space did it better. While callisto protcol have fantastic set pieces and environmental design, the creature design is just not as cool as the necromorphs in dead space. I kept pushing through the game because i genuienly wanted to understand the plot, but by the time i reached the end, i just didnt give a ♥♥♥♥. I think its ok to pass on this game.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 27: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game is underrated and feels like dead space 4, but i can understand why it gets alot of hate it as the game can be very difficult aswell as it not running well on low end pcs
dead space at home 💔
The Callisto Protocol delivers a tense, cinematic sci-fi horror experience with incredible visuals, brutal combat, and a dark atmosphere that keeps you on edge from start to finish. The sound design and detailed environments make every encounter feel intense, while the story captures the feeling of a classic space horror thriller. A great pick for players who enjoy immersive survival horror with strong presentation and action-packed gameplay.
I recommend this game with some heavy caveats. First, get it on sale, you don't really need the suits, but the Final Transmission is a three-ish hour expansion and the Riot Mode are fun. Second, be ready for some jank. The animations will clip through walls and you'll see crazy ragdoll physics going nuts. I got stuck in the environment a few times, but the checkpoints are pretty generous. Third, turn the graphics down so it doesn't stutter on you. It's a beautiful game and turning many of the graphics options down or off won't hinder your enjoyment of it. It will still look good. Finally, do not try to play this on a Steam Deck, it's a mess, truly not worth it. There are too many vents to crawl through, too many ladders to climb, too many deaths by stupid environment traps. You get grabbed way too many times and have to mash buttons to get loose. They try to get you with jump scares but after the zillionth time, it's not scary, it's just annoying. It very badly needs a map, so you know where to go, and which ways to explore. You can miss so much stuff and once you progress through the section you can't go back. However, if you can tolerate all of that, it is a fun experience and I enjoyed playing through it. Just temper your expectations. It's not Dead Space. But, I really liked the characters, the story and the combat. It is very heavy melee focused. There are a few guns you can use and upgrade but the economy is slow and you don't need them all. The Grip Glove thing is great, it is fun to hurl enemies into various traps that are clearly setup for you to use. Riot Mode is where you can get all your shooty-shooty fun time. Or, you can use Cheat Engine to give yourself lots of credits so you can upgrade your guns and buy ammo and heals. I can see what Striking Distance was trying to do and I appreciate it. They just left a lot of rough edges. It was setup as a spiritual successor to Dead Space and I enjoyed it more than Dead Space 3, but it never reaches the highs of Dead Space 1 or 2. I'm depressed that we probably won't get any more of these games for a long time, if ever. P.S. There is a six episode audio podcast with Michael Ironside and Gwendoline Christie called Helix Station if you want more background and lore. P.P.S. Every time Jacob crawled through a vent or climbed a ladder or squeezed through a section all I could think about was Dunkey saying, "Now this is triple A!"
No clue what the bad reviews are on about, the only thing I see worth complaining is the manual save system. Which frankly seems to be done on purpose for preserving your autosaves so that they aren't deleted. The action feels pretty solid, normal on maximum security. Combat is easy to understand, not sure why people are complaining. Story is interesting enough, nothing ground breaking, but ♥♥♥♥ I've done so much scifi almost nothing suprises me anymore. Encounters aren't difficult 1 on 1 but being careless gets you killed, subjecting you to the true game slop horror of: actually enduring the auto save feature. Seriously, that's all I see that could be called annoying for real. Character is "slow", because horror, he's not supposed to be Sonic. I could nock the game for advertising to me upon first launch, but it's talking about itself and it's extra content. Weirdly capitalistic if you ask me, as someone who heartedly enjoys working on what they love, but come on guys triple F games do the same and aren't getting half the flack for it. I honestly have to wonder if 66% on reviews is souly because people are decidedly shallow enough to be disappointed in a game that was given no chance to shine due to peoples ridiculous expectations. If I wanted Dead Space the Againatening, I'd just play Dead Space... again.
