About

14th-century Europe. Bloody conflicts sweep the lands, and the Black Death comes for the survivors. It's a moment of weakness - and that's all they needed. Vampires seize their opportunity to walk out of the shadows and claim what they've been denied for centuries: freedom, and the power that comes with it. Other creatures of the night follow their lead. Legends turn into reality, and history as we know it will never be the same.
You play as Coen, a young man turned into a Dawnwalker, forever treading the line between the world of day and the realm of night. Fight for your humanity or embrace the cursed powers to save your family. Whatever your choice, the question stands: is your soul worth the lives of those you love?

Experience and shape the plot the way you want. Embark on the quest to save your family, or swear revenge on your sire and destroy everyone standing in your way. Discover ancient secrets lurking in the valley. Rush in head first or risk taking time to prepare. Go alone or search for friends and forge unlikely alliances.

Experience two different gameplay loops, offering distinct abilities to choose from, mysteries to uncover, and varying ways to achieve your goals. Experiment with different approaches and discover how the world reacts to your actions.

Every action - and inaction - shapes the world around you. Your family’s days are numbered, and every time you take on a quest, time moves forward, compelling you closer to the end. Choose carefully whom to help and whom to leave behind. You will not have time for everyone. The world waits for no one. And neither does the villain.

Defy gravity, become a brutal force of nature, and use your supernatural skills as a vampire. Or raise your sword, and employ powerful magic to take on opponents as a human. Experiment and adapt as your form changes during the day and night; each has its strengths and weaknesses.

Venture through the hand-crafted open world and discover all it has to offer. Roam through the lush forests, the vast plains, the treacherous swamps, the steep mountaintops, and the medieval settlements. Explore forgotten ruins, find remnants of an ancient civilization, and uncover truths that should probably remain hidden.

Experience the beginning of a brand-new saga built with love for the role-playing genre. Immerse yourself in a visually stunning world powered by the next-gen Unreal Engine 5.

Très bonne surprise ! J’accroche vraiment beaucoup à The Blood of DawnWalker.
Witcher 3 Elemente in einem "Blade" Like RPG Game? - Beste Idee ever. 100% Kaufempfehlung.

Played 11 hours so far. I'd give it maybe an 8/10. It's good, not great. I would still recommend you buy it. If you liked the Witcher, you'll like this game. The good parts: I think the RPG elements are really good so far. The story has me invested. I like the main character, which should be a give in, but a lot of games overlook this and make the main character unlikable. I like the side characters and villains so far. Graphics, sound design, musical score, and voice acting are great. Enemy designs are cool. Crafting system is simple, but ok. Abilities and powers are really cool, though I do have a complain about the perk system I will discuss below. Complaints: Combat is a quite clunky in my opinion. And combat is a massive part of the game. Part of the problem is that it's not very intuitive. The block and movement is tied to the same left joystick, so when you are blocking you can't move your character. It turns into a basic cycle of move, press block (which means stop moving) to block, counter attack. Rinse repeat until you've hit the enemy 20 times and he is dead. The more enemies you are fighting at once the more annoying and clunky the combat feels. The enemy lock system is too slow to switch between enemies, if it works at all. And you'd better hope the floor is completely free of clutter, because if it's not your character is going to get stuck. I hated the combat at first. I thought it was extremely frustrating. I am getting better at combat, so for me it has transitioned into being less frustrating at this point and more annoying, neither of which is good. I see enemies and I think, ugh, I have to get into the stupid combat mechanics again. The day/night time system is ok and had the potential to be great. One of the problems is that it's annoyingly unclear how much time certain activities will take. Want to repair a shrine? The game tells you it's supposed to take 1 time period. Ok. Turns out halfway through the quest, in order to repair the shrine you have to spend an additional time period doing an additional task. Then spend another time period to repair the shrine. Also, if all I am doing to repair a shrine is killing a wolf and picking up a statue, then placing a statue back in the shrine, why does that take 2 time periods? So it actually took double the amount of time the quest said it would take. The fact that the game is unclear and makes you spend more time that you originally expected to take happens a lot. Couple that with the perk system (talked about below) and there are many days or nights when I only accomplish one or two things because the game took way more of my time periods than I expected it to or than what feels reasonable. The perk system is also a big drain on your allotted time periods. Basically every perk you spend when you level up aside from the most basic perks takes time periods to level up. You can maybe argue that Persona/Metaphor does the same thing, where you have to spend time to improve skills. But it feels to me like Persona/Metaphor is much more relaxed with the time mechanic and you don't feel like you are wasting time when you work on leveling your skills. It feels like you are leveling up skills in order to achieve something else in the game. Where in this game, it does feel like you are wasting your time periods. Would I rather spend 3 time periods choosing 3 perks and feel like I wasted those time periods? Or would I rather use those 3 time periods to experience more of the game by doing an additional quest. I do understand that the game wants you to feel like these choices matter with how you spend your time, but to me the fact that leveling up takes away from experiencing more of the game and characters means the mechanic isn't good or fun. Overall it's a good game with a few annoyances that make the game less fun than it otherwise would be.
Story szuper, harcrendszert szokni kell, látszik kontrollere van kitalálva, van egy pár bug de nagyon beszippant a game. Akinek bejönnek az rpg-k azoknak ajánlom.
super fun and well written story
I've been super hyped for this for months, especially being such a hugeeee fan of The Witcher 3, and so far its awesome. Has a really similar feel around the world and gameplay, and the setting itself is incredibly compelling. I see a lot of people giving poor reviews simply because of the optimization, but I'm not playing on the most top of the line machine and I'm having no issues with FPS on full ultra settings. With the patch today they also seem very keen on bug fixing, so the issue with controller movement inputs (the only issue I've experienced) will likely be fixed within a day or two if its not already. Overall, definitely gonna be putting a lot more hours into this over the next few weeks.
Very good game so far, especially in terms of the story. My main issue is that I wish I could toggle/turn off the jump-scare bright red mini "vampire frenzy" cutscenes (or make them less intense). They occur when you interact with certain objects such as witchcraft books. They appear so abruptly and strobe-like that I find them quite visually overwhelming and they break all immersion. (I can see their value thematically, but personally would like the game a lot better if I could turn them off.)
It really is Witcher 3 with more vampires for the most part. Has quite a few issues with some things like enemy variety, balancing, immersive aspects in some scenes (Bakir has gotta be the stupidest mfer I've ever seen, blind on both eyes somehow) but the highs more than make up for it. Peak video game, can't see where they take this next.
Performance kinda bad butthe rest is peak
Чудова гра!!! Історія дуже сподобалась. У зв'язку з обставинами пройшов гру на Steam Deck. Обов'язково буду перепроходити, та чекати длс.
