About

14th-century Europe. Bloody conflicts sweep the lands, and the Black Death comes for the survivors. It's a moment of weakness - and that's all they needed. Vampires seize their opportunity to walk out of the shadows and claim what they've been denied for centuries: freedom, and the power that comes with it. Other creatures of the night follow their lead. Legends turn into reality, and history as we know it will never be the same.
You play as Coen, a young man turned into a Dawnwalker, forever treading the line between the world of day and the realm of night. Fight for your humanity or embrace the cursed powers to save your family. Whatever your choice, the question stands: is your soul worth the lives of those you love?

Experience and shape the plot the way you want. Embark on the quest to save your family, or swear revenge on your sire and destroy everyone standing in your way. Discover ancient secrets lurking in the valley. Rush in head first or risk taking time to prepare. Go alone or search for friends and forge unlikely alliances.

Experience two different gameplay loops, offering distinct abilities to choose from, mysteries to uncover, and varying ways to achieve your goals. Experiment with different approaches and discover how the world reacts to your actions.

Every action - and inaction - shapes the world around you. Your family’s days are numbered, and every time you take on a quest, time moves forward, compelling you closer to the end. Choose carefully whom to help and whom to leave behind. You will not have time for everyone. The world waits for no one. And neither does the villain.

Defy gravity, become a brutal force of nature, and use your supernatural skills as a vampire. Or raise your sword, and employ powerful magic to take on opponents as a human. Experiment and adapt as your form changes during the day and night; each has its strengths and weaknesses.

Venture through the hand-crafted open world and discover all it has to offer. Roam through the lush forests, the vast plains, the treacherous swamps, the steep mountaintops, and the medieval settlements. Explore forgotten ruins, find remnants of an ancient civilization, and uncover truths that should probably remain hidden.

Experience the beginning of a brand-new saga built with love for the role-playing genre. Immerse yourself in a visually stunning world powered by the next-gen Unreal Engine 5.

I want to like this game. I think I am gonna love this game, eventually. However. At the hardest difficulty. So keep that in mind. Combat at the start is just absurd. This is just insane. You fight multiple enemies. Yet, if one enemy in a group starts an animation before you, you get hit. If you are in the middle of blocking another enemy, you still get hit. And I am not kidding, you can get hit in the middle of a blocking animation. But its even more insane. You can block an enemy, start to attack directly after (and yes, i am talking about a singular enemy) and they can still complete their attack, before you do yours. Despite you being the first one to initiate it, because keep in mind, they are stunned for a brief moment before they can even start an attack after a block. This has been pointed out from others. But I will still mention it. "Lock-on" is very weird. And if you want to escape a fight, well good luck. Likely not to happen. Your lock-on is likely to shift, and you will doge into something that worsens your situation. If you ever thought witcher 3 was clunky, this is clunky to the MAX. I will leave this as a negative review. Because if you really wanted to get into it from a combat perspective you can forget about it. Its beyond clunky, its awkward and you have to be really lucky with certain encounters. Save scumming if you will. The fact that witcher 3 was considered clunky many many years ago. And this game just takes it further in the wrong direction is quite insane. I would go as far as to say they never tested the game at its max difficulty. I say again. You can be mid-block/parry animation, and still be hit. I never in my life thought I would think that KCD2 had good combat, yet it turns out, it does. You can even be mid dodge animation and still be hit. It is crazy. If they really wanted a combat system like this, it better be responsive, yet it is not. Quite disappointing really. If you love the genre its prolly not gonna matter. It doesnt to me. But that does not mean it would be fair to leave a positive review either. Will likely change. We will see.

BELLO
Glad I can experience the start to a beautiful series
Jak na razie dobrze się gra, wciąga. Optymalizacja spoko w 1440p w ustawieniach ultra bez generacji klatek stabilne 95-100 klatek. Pamiętajcie kiedyś jeden wampir pobił ubogiego i uciekł do Rumuni i nie poniósł konsekwencji.
Honestly, the optimization isn't as bad as everyone says. 100FPS DLSS Quality with RTX 5090 @ 4K. Otherwise, the gameplay requires you to actually think and I feel like it's the first game with a concept that has genuinely intrigued me in a while.
My few gripes with the gameare a camera angle issue in close quarters and the fact that persistent parries and counter attacks dont drive the enemies back far enough. The biggest gripe i have is on controller, if you move the stick into a non cardinal direction, it's like it only registers at like 20 percent strength. Other than that I LOVE this game.
Très bien
Has promise but game as launched is a mess. Crashes constantly.
