For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is probably the best looking tetris out there that I've ever seen. But it's not just beauty, you're also getting the brains.. i.e., it plays very nice too. So many different modes to enjoy! pretty much all modes exist here except for battle royale, which I hope would be available one day.
It's Tetris.
My initial review was negative due to my experiencing the game primarily in VR mode which brought with it many issues. Playing the game in Desktop mode was far more enjoyable leading me to feel like VR was the worst way to experience this game. The VR mode is subpar and feels like an afterthought which is sadly not too uncommon for games primarily developed for Console and PC. In desktop mode (how most people will experience this game) the visuals are crisp, clear and very well done (at max settings which my machine handles no problem). I genuinely felt like I played better with the game in windowed mode though that could have been due to me getting my controller to work and not necessarily because things were generally more responsive. Though, there were definitely many times where the framerate dipped in VR mode causing me to misplace a block or outright ruin my flow. I don't mean the beatdown the VR mode too much but considering it's Tetris you wouldn't expect it to run so poorly and struggle on an adequate machine. I don't feel worse visuals are a good trade off to experience this game in VR especially when (in all honesty) VR doesn't really enhance the experience. There are so many other VR games that both look and run better on the same machine with very few compromises so why should I make such trade offs just to play Tetris? I do still think Tetris Effect is difficult but manageable. You will need to use the Focus Mechanic where possible not just because it can be used to save you from a bad situation but also because the game's scoring system heavily favours its use. You aren't ranked on each level individually (in Journey mode at-least) so you must survive multiple levels in a row without failure to tally up your overall score and be given a rank. Resetting at any-point, even back to the start of the current level, resets your score to zero which feels a bit mean. I've had to restart from the beginning of the second chapter many times just to get a good score. I highly recommend use of a controller as it helps a-lot with keeping up as the game gets faster. Not sure whether to recommend this for the casual player or puzzle fan since I am not very well versed in puzzle games. This is easily the most time and concentration I've ever put into Tetris and I'm very much enjoying it now. It definitely has that "one more try!" factor or "I can do it! I know I can!" which may have been the dev's goal all along. The visuals and sound are nice but are really there to encourage you. To celebrate your every victory with lights and sound. Like an applause for performing so well and it does a damn good job of it.
