Review: Terminator: Resistance – A Rusty Relic If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to spend the end of the world looking for bits of scrap metal in a blurry alleyway, Terminator: Resistance is the game for you. For everyone else, it’s a dated, clunky experience that fails to live up to the cinematic legacy of the first two films. The Scavenging Grind The gameplay loop is heavily weighted toward tedious looting. You’ll spend far more time staring at the ground looking for scraps than actually engaging with Skynet’s forces. This constant search for resources kills the pacing and makes the "Resistance" feel less like a high-stakes war and more like a desperate plumbing job. Combat and Mechanics Ammo Scarcity: The game frequently leaves you defenseless. While a survival horror vibe might work for some, here it just feels like poor balancing. Running out of ammo in a shooter shouldn’t happen this often, especially when the alternative is "rigid" combat. Stiff Gameplay: Movement and gunplay feel unresponsive and dated. In an era of fluid first-person shooters, Resistance feels like it’s stuck in 2011. Visuals: 4K Potatoes Even running at a native 4K resolution, the game struggles to impress. The textures are muddy, the environments are bland, and the character models lack the detail you’d expect from a modern title. No amount of pixels can hide the fact that the art direction is uninspired and "potato-like" in its execution. The Verdict Terminator: Resistance might appeal to die-hard fans of the franchise who can overlook massive technical flaws for a bit of nostalgia, but for the average gamer, it’s a bland, rigid, and visually underwhelming experience. Bottom Line: This is one machine that should have stayed in the scrap heap.

Oldschoolowy shooter z elementami carftingu nie banalną fabułą i to wszystko wrzucone w jedno z naj ciekawszych uniwersów Hollywoodu. Dla fanów franczyzy Terminatora przygotowano mnóstwo Easter eggów które w trakcie gry są dozowany. Od strony technicznej jak na 2019 rok nie ma się czego czepiać zwłaszcza ścieżka dźwiękowa z orginalnego filmu dopełnia klimatu. Zdecydowanie warto.
This is a surprisingly good shooter/looter, with a great Terminator atmosphere. The terminator models are appropriately dificult to take down and the feeling of being a scavenging little mouse, hiding from feral cats, is ever present. Haven't finished the game yet, but I am actually enjoying the linear nature of the game after the onslaught of open world games we have now. There are still plenty of side quests in each area you travel to, along with the main objectives. Progression is interesting so far and, depending on the difficulty chosen, crafting materials are available to keep ammo and such topped up, as well as plenty of stashes. Am enjoying it and therefore giving it a recommend to buy :)

2019年的老游戏了，画质和游戏性算是及格。剧情整体不错，里面也有很多彩蛋。但是我必须要吐槽一下，天网都这科技水平了，竟然也就那么几种重武器，除了激光武器外，重武器和装甲单位甚至不如冷战时代。
