Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance is not just a game; it's an adrenaline-fueled journey where your strategic prowess decides the fate of mankind against the machines. After the machines took over, the greatest threats may not come from the machines but rather from other human survivors.

This isn't going to be a detailed one. If you like Terminator universe and like real time tactics this is really fun. I've played plenty of Company of Heroes games and I thought the gameplay was different enough to where it didn't feel like a Terminator mod of CoH. I tend to like real time tactics that isn't heavy on building bases and just overwhelming your opponent with a hoard of units. This doesn't have bases and relies upon tactical choices more than hoarding or other tactics that work in other more base focused RTS games. It focuses on the strategy of battle and then outside of battle on the map, you make the more logistical choices. There are some story choices you make that affect the allies you have access to which usually affects trading on the map. I like that, I didn't need it to completely change the course of the game. Some games can make story choices matter a lot and that's cool, but I think that only really works with some stories. I think sometimes games get ambitious with having multiple ways the story can go, but sometimes the b, c, and d stories are half baked.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Really well done. The unit equipping really adds a lot. Vehicle crews gain XP and can be assigned to any vehicle, rather than the vehicle itself gaining XP, as in most RTS games. I don't think I've really seen that since Earth 2160. It makes me long for someone to develop a Terminator grand strategy game, where you can send different groups out in different directions, rather than moving your entire force to each location. For example, I often wish I could send just a couple of vehicles on a shopping trip. Imagine playing as the machines, and not only setting up factories and assembly lines for Terminators, but designing new body parts, equipment, etc., rather than having preset units.

I'll continue to play more of this, and maybe my opinion will change. But so far I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. I'm a big fan of Call to Arms Gates of Hell Ostfront. I like these style of games, though they can be difficult with line of sight concerns. It's not quite as potent as Call to Arms GoH, but it's there. So far the game feels scripted, and not something that you're going to be freely traveling around on. I hope I'm wrong. Since I'm a fan of Call to Arms GoH, I expected this to be difficult. Those games have some brutal AI that can lock on very quickly, far faster than you can if you're controlling the vehicle. It is extremely lethal. This game has a similar system. However, unlike Call to Arms GoH's dynamic campaign, with battles being fought over capture points, and the game doesn't have side objectives. You get to the capture points when you fight through enough of the enemy. There is a time limit of sorts, based on victory points for the defender, or capturing all the capture points for the attacker. The thing is, is that the battles don't require foreknowledge to win. It's not a fully scripted affair, it's dynamic, with each side having a side they spawn from. This is a campaign, heavily scripted, and heavily reliant on save scumming, and really doing the battle over and over again until you get favorable results. I find my options in battle so far are extremely unbalanced as far as my vehicles versus theirs. They can easily penetrate my armor and destroy my vehicles, but some can't even be touched by the .50 cal machine guns. Some technicals have got 20mm guns I think, but basically only atgms or rpgs have any effect on the bigger terminators. Some mistakes you'll make are just ridiculous. I have been replaying this one mission trying to get it right, and nothing is communicated well as to what's going to be going on. There's all this stuff that pops up, and you have to time everything perfectly. You have to pick your route perfectly, lest you upset someone for stepping on their territory, that won't be clearly marked. Or you need to know that you have to start at one place, then move all the way over across the map, then back all the way across the map, to make sure some guy doesn't die, and then back again. All of this takes place with ZERO options to speed up the game. Pathing isn't the best, formations are AWFUL in this game. Units don't box up and move together, they kinda wander a bit, and you'll have individual units far away from other units in their group. The drag formations are just pathetic. There's no such thing as a line of units. It's either some scattered BS, or a cross. Have these guys ever played any Total War games? It's like this is baby's first RTS. Oh, and Sergeant Mason so far really sucks. I hope he dies soon.
this game has great modding and can be modded by cursor claude code and other such ais it includes great graphics and allows for deep tactics strategy adn resouce management and micromanaging armies
its hard yes i love the fact that it is just take your time pause the game look around before anything them wire heads be everywhere but just take the time to move your guys around and you will have a victory with spoils :]
