Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance is not just a game; it's an adrenaline-fueled journey where your strategic prowess decides the fate of mankind against the machines. After the machines took over, the greatest threats may not come from the machines but rather from other human survivors.

After the Uprising update I can´t play as the main faction since every time I try the game crashes (I can only play as movement or Legion even in the main game). Helicopters don´t have the option to attack anymore even if they have weapons, the game is filled with placeholder text instead of item descriptions, the voice acting is horrible, the Uprising gamemode is just a linear conquest mode in which you can only play as ONE of the SIX factions, it has no story whatsoever, it´s repetitive and I could go on and on. It became unplayable to me. I can´t recommend this game at all.
This game has been a little disappointing. Just having a hard time enjoying some of the monotonous stuff. Like even though every enemy will be dead but I have to move all my troops to an exit point, just waiting on squat after squad to traverse the map.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ok the trailer for the game does not do it justice, this game is prob one of the best RTS I have played in a super long time. I love it.
C+ The game is a complicated mess. The story isn't that bad and is interesting to go through especially the Legion DLC. The flaws sadly are in the Story Missions for humans as you run into 3 major issues. 1. Changing mission objectives which can really screw you over when you deploy your forces to finish an objective and then fail because you had failed to realize you needed to have left units at a specific point not stated for the exact moment the new mission objective changed. 2. Unit AI... both a mixture of pathfinding skills for your units and how your units can tend to be a bit stupid in targeting the wrong thing while the enemy AI aims for your key units. This is especially an issue with Human campaign since you get punished for losing units. 3. Mission unit deployment... you get a limited amount of troops your allowed to place, an issue with facing an enemy that lacks that issue... and then having to also make sure you know where you are supposed to get the extra units on the maps to also restock your army. So you keep using low level units when you are expected to have high level ones and also have to deal with the supply issue to keep your units working. Yet once you get past those issues the game opens up and it can be fun... though I'd advise getting it on sale if you are unsure as the game is flawed, but it can be fun. Legon DLC seems to have a better campaign as you play as the bots who are more used to throwing their units at the enemy so less of an issue of trying to get your rag bag team to not starve to death as you try to finish the campaign with looting and selling everything and more trying to get the right mass produced units to murder your foes with less awkward mission change goals that will force you to reload.
8.5/10 - Hopefully they further develop this. Its better than GATES of Hell for several reasons. Incredibly frustrating, save scumming inducing experience, yet absolutely addictive call to arms style but with a great story campaign. Feels unpolished in small minor ways you notice in moments, and polished beautifully in others, absolutely glad I bought it. I spent 20 hours pretty much learning and reloading, started on realistic, then dropped to hard after mission 5 when I realized many mechanics and features the game just assumed I would know. I love the unit permanence, mechanics mixed with RPG elements, its like and RTS xcom trying to keep your faction balanced with resources and making hard choices. One of the rare games I actually glad I bought and will likely complete.
Truly a "Terminator Salvation" game not “Dark Fate” I’m afraid, that movie sucks. Game has great physics, building destruction is awesome, graphics and FX are incredible. Units move and shoot realistically. How units fight in garrison is unique compared to other RTS games like C&C or CoH. Game has a pretty good story with decent voice acting. Other than some unit pathing issues and sound effects that could use a bit more polish (low volume and missing sound effects), it’s a fun, frustrating game that needs tactics to win. Wish the sequel had base building/fortification and hopefully fighting alongside John Connor in the future. Tip: Switch to open beta version to fix crash issue when loading saved games.
The game look okay but DAMN WHY ARE EVERYBODY LOBOTOMIZED? Worse AI ever. First mission 181 kills and 1 unit lost... I really feel like wipping ChatGPT. And our AI allies is the same... Why do you charge the enemy like it is WW1??? And the voice actors want us to feel in a tense war? What is the word??? Ludonarrative dissonance??? I think this game is the definition of Ludonarrative dissonance.
Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance - это не просто игра. Это симулятор перезагрузок. Но залип знатно, рекомендую
