this was without a doubt the most mediocre and eye-roll inducing story-focused Telltale game I've played. honestly couldn't wait for it to be over, the story is so shallow and totally not written in any way where you get attached to any of the characters and it was just so painful to sit through these horrible dialogue trees. going into it I had only ever played Borderlands 2 and didn't like that either but decided to give this a chance regardless. all of the characters don't take any of the happenings seriously and write everything off with corny one-liners that really made me want to just alt+f4 and be done with it. I sat through this disaster for 12 hours and they even made the ENDING unsatisfying. I had somehow managed to also screw myself over by not getting any of the cooler characters into the final act - sorry I didn't tell everyone and their mom that I wanted to be vault hunter! - tough ♥♥♥♥, now you're locked out of a character. anyhow, this all was to say that this game isn't necessarily bottom of the barrel, but really mediocre. try at your own risk

I absolutely fell in love with the characters and the humor. Of course, humor is a key part of the Borderlands universe, but the writers of this game are simply brilliant. Ever since The Walking Dead: Michonne, I’ve admired the music in Telltale Games’ projects, but here it’s truly exceptional - every track fits the scenes perfectly and adds incredible emotional depth. The game fully met and even exceeded my expectations. It left a warm impression and really motivates me to explore more games in the Borderlands universe. An unforgettable experience that I’d gladly relive again.

Mesmo sendo um spin-off em um estilo completamente diferente, Tales é uma excelente entrada na saga Borderlands. Uma trama e personagens cativantes que prendem de inicio ao fim e que mantém um perfeito equilíbrio entre o humor característico da saga e notas mais emocionais da história. ничего не знаю о вселенной бордерлендса и особо чет не интересовало, но это интерактивно-киношное похождение от поистине chert voz'mi легендарных ТЕЛЛТЕЙЛОВ дало мне необходимый эксайтмент для прохождения определенных частей борды (да знаю, что там другой жанр, но суть в атмосфере этого мира, yk?). я кароче кабута прям классный серик посмотрел, прям на твердые 8,5-9 из 10 баллоУ😍. жаль, что продолжения нетю. РЕКОМЕНДУЮ!!!
