Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 7 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada is a sci-fi action shooter developed by Game Studio Inc. and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Released in January 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, the game is part of Bandai Namco’s larger Synduality multimedia project that includes anime, novels, and other media set in the same universe. The game blends third-person shooting with survival and extraction mechanics, placing players in a hostile post-apocalyptic world where technology, artificial intelligence, and human survival intersect. While its concept is ambitious and visually impressive, the final experience combines innovative ideas with design choices that sometimes struggle to maintain long-term momentum. The story takes place in the year 2222, long after humanity was devastated by a catastrophic event known as the “Tears of the New Moon.” This mysterious toxic rain wiped out much of the world’s population and gave rise to monstrous creatures known as Enders that now dominate the planet’s surface. The surviving human population has retreated into underground settlements for protection, leaving only the bravest—or most desperate—individuals to venture back into the dangerous world above. Players take on the role of a “Drifter,” a freelance scavenger who explores the ruined Earth in search of valuable resources known as AO Crystals. These crystals are essential to sustaining the remaining human communities, making them one of the most important commodities in this devastated world. However, collecting them is extremely dangerous. The surface is filled not only with hostile creatures and environmental hazards but also with other Drifters competing for the same resources. One of the most distinctive elements of the game is its focus on mech-based exploration and combat. Instead of controlling a traditional human soldier, players pilot powerful mechanical suits called CRADLECOFFIN units. These machines serve as both combat platforms and exploration vehicles, allowing players to traverse rough terrain while carrying weapons and equipment necessary for survival. The weight and mechanical nature of these mechs give combat a deliberate, tactical feel. Movement is slower and more methodical than many traditional shooters, which reinforces the sense that players are operating heavy machinery rather than agile infantry units. Equally important to the gameplay experience is the presence of a companion AI known as a Magus. This humanoid artificial intelligence accompanies the player throughout missions, acting as both a tactical assistant and narrative companion. The Magus provides guidance, warns about incoming threats, highlights useful resources, and comments on events during exploration. Players can customize aspects of their Magus companion, including appearance and personality traits, which adds a small layer of personalization to the experience. The relationship between pilot and AI partner is one of the game’s more interesting narrative elements, offering moments of dialogue and companionship during otherwise lonely missions. The gameplay loop follows the extraction shooter format. Players deploy into hostile zones, search for resources, fight enemies, and attempt to return safely to base before being destroyed. Every mission carries significant risk because failing to escape can result in losing all collected resources and equipment. In some situations, players may even lose their mech and other valuable gear, which creates a constant sense of tension during each sortie. What makes the experience more dynamic is the game’s PvPvE structure. The environment is populated not only by AI-controlled enemies but also by other players who are simultaneously searching for resources. This means encounters can quickly shift from cooperative exploration to intense combat between rival Drifters. Players may choose to avoid confrontation and focus on gathering materials, or they can actively hunt other players to steal their resources. This unpredictability gives each mission a different tone, as alliances and rivalries can form unexpectedly. Customization is another key component of the game. Players can modify their CRADLECOFFIN units with various weapons, armor components, and equipment modules. Different loadouts allow players to specialize in certain combat styles, such as long-range firepower, defensive durability, or mobility-focused builds. Over time, players can also upgrade their base facilities and garage, unlocking new equipment and crafting options that improve their chances of survival during future missions. Visually, SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada stands out thanks to its striking sci-fi aesthetic and use of modern graphics technology. The ruined landscapes of Earth are filled with abandoned structures, toxic storms, and alien-like terrain that reflects the planet’s transformation after the catastrophic rain. The mech designs themselves are highly detailed, with sleek mechanical components that emphasize the industrial feel of the machines. These visual elements help immerse players in the bleak yet fascinating world of the game. The sound design contributes to the atmosphere with a mix of ambient environmental audio and dramatic musical themes during combat encounters. The quiet sounds of wind, machinery, and distant creatures create a sense of isolation while exploring the surface, while intense musical tracks amplify the tension of battles with enemy creatures or rival players. Voice performances for the Magus companions also help bring personality to the otherwise desolate setting. Despite its many strengths, the game has received mixed reactions from critics and players. While the combination of mech combat and extraction shooter mechanics is unique, the gameplay loop can feel repetitive over time. Missions often involve repeating similar resource-gathering objectives, which can become grind-heavy as players work to upgrade equipment and progress through the game. Some players have also criticized the balance between PvE exploration and PvP combat. Encounters with other players can sometimes feel unpredictable or unfair, especially when losing valuable equipment after a failed mission. These elements contribute to the high-risk nature of the game but may also frustrate players who prefer more forgiving progression systems. Nevertheless, when everything works together, SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada can deliver genuinely exciting moments. Successfully extracting valuable resources after a tense mission or surviving a chaotic battle between multiple mechs can be incredibly satisfying. The unpredictable encounters and strategic decision-making create a gameplay experience where each expedition feels meaningful and potentially dangerous. Ultimately, SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada is an ambitious attempt to combine mech combat, survival gameplay, and extraction shooter mechanics within a richly imagined science-fiction world. While the execution does not always fully realize its potential, the game’s unique premise and atmospheric design still offer an engaging experience for players who enjoy high-risk online shooters and customizable mech combat. Rating: 7/10
