Exoprimal is an online, team-based action game that pits humanity's cutting-edge exosuit technology against history's most ferocious beasts – dinosaurs.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Unfortunately Capcom is setting out to make a point that the Triple A game industry is dead as their track record was too good I guess. After the incident of the SF6 Chun Li tournament host mishap they have been on an out of touch exec rampage against modding and having fun with their games. They are now rolling out patches forcing in a sketchy DRM system that is essentially sold off some no name company in Russia that is being flagged by virus systems and labeled as malware while also severely affecting perfomance of the games, this being added to literally their whole catalogue including products we already own and have played for years, I will be replacing my positive reviews of all capcom games with this one just as they have decided to shove DRM software which any sane person would not want on their pc. Update seems capcom is still going fully into their spasm so yep reviews stay.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 24: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I think with a lot of reviews; good or bad, most people will go and throw an opinion out there and rate a game without helping viewers understand why besides "I found the game good/bad." I find myself looking for what are the Pros and Cons are of games and their game play so I can see if it's the right game for me. So, I'll go ahead and throw this list in here so people can get a good general idea. Hope this helps! :D Game Play: - Online VS Multiplayer - Match-based - PVP competitive game direction - Simple HUD set up - Fast-Paced FPS game play - 5 player teams - Cross-platform Pros: - High resolution shooting Dinos - Easy to learn the game - Match based rounds make it easy to come and go - No penalty to player if you have to leave in the middle of the match - Easy to get back into if you've been away for long - Matches are not like HALO and other match based systems, it will find whatever players that are queued up in your data center whether the are starting out or higher level players. (Prevents burn outs and getting paired against sweats constantly) - Match queues are very quick when playing during live times on your server (If you're playing in early hours on a NA or JP data center, you'll likely find long queue times before the system either finds someone or puts you into a match by yourself) - No pay to win mechanics (Only thing is if you would like to buy the Season Pass for an additional $20 USD ea. season, it is all just cosmetic items) - No Fear of Missing Out (All seasonal pass items and in-game events rotate back and players will have another opportunity to earn those items) - It only takes 56 matches to get through the Story portion to unlock all game modes - You don't have to do any PVP (There is a mode that if you'd like to do just PVP of PVE competitive, you can equip that for less EXP gain to enjoy the game how you want to) - It's really easy to earn in game currency to unlock Mods for improving game play or Cosmetic items that do not drop from Loot boxes - Loot box earn system through player levels. (If you don't get an item, you still get coins for rewards that can be used to purchase them) - Any stickers/decals/pendants/emotes are player based, not Suit based - In matches, can communicate with players through stickers or Voice - Matches do not require any one to be a set "class" (You could play all Support or Damage dealing if you'd like) - If you don't want to play against those from Console you can make a selection to turn it off in Settings - There is a player block/report function (Just because it uses Anti-cheat, doesn't mean someone didn't find a way to get around it. You can report them without any issues) - If you don't want to hear a player, you can mute them (You can also turn Voice off completely in settings) - Is crazy fun - Great game to play with 4 of your friends after work on your downtime Cons: - The game is poorly optimized (While high resolution, it eats unnecessarily at resources) - Players can leave the match at anytime (Whether if you're in the middle or not, they can leave and hop back right into a different instance; but you can do the same) - Queue times differ depending on the time you're playing (There are high volume times and there are times no one is on, it will take a while for you to get placed in a match by yourself with just bots. Meaning you can't play at all in the wee hours of your region.) - If you do not remember to go to your "Analysis" tab between queuing matches if you're just starting to the game, you will not progress through story, which will not unlock new game modes - You HAVE to do the story to unlock more game modes - You can not choose what game mode you get (If you want just to play Area defense or protect the pay load, you're just going to have to keep playing till you rotate around) - There is no text chat communication function (You have to use stickers, emotes, or Voice) - The player block/report function can only be used in the match (if you get to the Player analysis screen at the end, there is still time to block/report players as there is a players tab. However, once you leave a match, you can't block/report problematic players) - In game player community can be quite toxic (I personal have voice chat turned off because if you do not, you will still be able to hear other players, even if you're not plugged in. More people from street fighter community than Monster Hunter community of Capcom came to play the game is seems.) - You can't actively friend or play with a buddy cross platform (The game uses the Console or Steam in-laid Friend system, you can't add a friend from PC to Console and vice versa. If you want to play together, you have to queue at the same time and hope you get into a match together) Sorry, it's long, but hopefully people can just take what they need.
Updated on Jul 5th:
Capcom officially ended today all new content for the game as announced in all socials of Exoprimal.
So basically: - After season 4, comes season 1 again, and so it'll be until the servers are shut down ( "Time loop rebellion" revealed itself as a great title for the most recent game mode in many ways now) - No new battlepasses, game modes, thicc robot skins or collabs with Capcom IPs (They seriously gave us Megaman Collab before a DMC collab and I'll never forgive the Japanese for that) - Expect the same dumb Capcom dongle as reward for login bonus on every Capcom Anniversary until the end of time. That's it folks, pack it up, Kunitsu-Gami is right around the corner and I can't wait to be made a fool again. Original review: First and foremost:
Play it on the Game Pass
. The game is great, actually one of the best multiplayer experiences I ever had in my miserable life, but the steam price is outrageous and it's really holding this game down. Capcom is out of their mind by not dropping this ridiculous price tag in order to open doors to new players on steam. 1- Comparisions to Helldivers 2 are constant and not only dumb, but criminal and should be a capital offense punished by making the offender take a shower. The only thing both games share is the "coop" tag. Exoprimal is about putting Iron Man in the Dino Crisis universe to see how many chicken-ancestors he can take before a rogue Chat-GPT says it's time to go to bed. It's an arcade experience not intended in any way to have you tactically moving to complete objectives. You pick your exosuit, and smash hordes of dinos while learning among dozens of hours on how to best make use of upgrades and skills, to do it better, faster, sexier (hope this is a word). Matches are short, and your class matter, as typical hero shooter. So, as I said: Nothing like Helldivers 2. 2- The game is not dead, far from it. Matches start after 2 or 4 minutes in queue. And as long as Game Pass players keep being able to join with their mics permanently turned-on while they eat dorittos and scream at their moms, the game will be alive and well. Also, updates are slow, collabs are probably going to be mixmashes of Capcom franchises ultil these servers are unplugged, since let's be real, this game didn't take off at all. And in-house Capcom IPs are probably indeed the smartest option to keep things interesting here.
Game is dead. There were 68 people online when I checked a moment ago. I'd refund it but uhh, I bought it as a key so I can't.
Retroactively adding DRM to their games, do not buy.
Make this game f2p and it’s good.
No True PVE Mode All the Missions are the same 1/4 Baked AAA Junk. You need a Capcom account to Play for Zero Reward or purpose.
If you like playing Destiny 2 Gambit with all AI teammates and opponents, then this might be for you. I don't know how that's for anyone though.
I love mech suits, however I dont think i would recommend this game for full price to anyone, unless you already know you'd love it
