Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 23 → 3/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

At the turn of the millennium, the world of Tahnra is headed for a reckoning. The long and bloody conflict of Veridian Succession left the Empire of Veridia scarred, its people subject to brutal hardships. Under the reign of Empress Florina, the vicious cycle seemed to be broken, until a rogue General abducted her from the capital, mustering his own armies and raising the flag of rebellion. You, a young academy graduate, will command an expedition against these forces… a conflict that will set off a chain of events and shake the very foundations of the world.

Enjoyable game, it's essentially augmented chess, you can choose the sort of unit build you want for the team, it could be pure offense, defence, mix, do whatever you want and just experiment. I can't comment to much on the story as I'll be honest I have just been breezing through those parts to get to the mechanical parts of the game. Good amount of versatility in the base game which I have, look to continue playing and seeing how it evolves. + From me.
Symphony of War is a nice little tactical RPG with a charming story. There are some slightly rough parts around the edges, but the core of the game is very fun and interesting. In particular, I'd say that the modular nature of your squads is a novel idea to me - you can chop and change the actual units in your squads however you want, only restricted by the leadership stat of the squad leader determining how many units in total can fit there. Even amongst the main characters in the game, it's perfectly fine to delete the squad containing one of them and put them into the squad of another if you can find a tactical advantage like that. The only issue I might flag is that it's not always obvious what combinations actually work well/what the thresholds are for squads being considered a particular "type", e.g. cavalry, flying, etc. The combat/general gameplay is good. It flows well and is intuitive. There's nothing particularly negative that stands out about it except that in terms of difficulty, I didn't think the hardest difficulty was particularly hard on its own for someone familiar with similar games in the genre. There is an additional setting for permadeath, where you will lose characters if you lose them in battle, which I imagine would significantly increase the challenge but at the same time I don't think I could recommend that to someone playing the game for the first time because you don't know what sorts of unfavourable matchups there might be and early on, even when it looked like I was engaging a favourable matchup sometimes the squad leader would manage to get one-shot by the enemy. Graphically the game looks nice and is accompanied by a decent soundtrack. I did find it a little jarring sometimes though as the game uses RPG Maker for its cutscenes in a similar, but noticeably different style from the normal game (as seen in the screenshots) but this is probably just nit picking and didn't detract too much overall. Overall, I'd say that the quality and amount of content is worth the price if you enjoy your tactical RPGs and especially so if, like at the moment, it's on sale.

Giving me my Unicorn Overlord Type Fix.

Very good Fire Emblem style game with deeper strategy surrounding unit composition, type matchups and a generally enjoyable story to go with it. And with permadeath as an option, you can really ramp up your difficulty and tension. Highly recommend
Very interesting in terms of gameplay, level design and well-balanced mechanics. So far, the plot could use a bit less clichés but it's not bad overall. I recommend
