This game has no reason to be played over anything else. It's premise? It's poorly executed. It's game play? Liquid ass. Characters? Terribly Cringe (Kirito says it's offensive to use people's real name instead of their gamer tag wtf???). Story? 3 Words - Sword Art Online.
Maan this game is so cool. I was playing off and on casually but I got hooked all of a sudden. I am not a viewer of the anime but I do enjoy JRPG's every once in a while. This one is a TPS JRPG. It has some jank compared to western TPS' but it has waifu's which Western games do not have as of late.

Log Horizon is better
Cannot launch the game, I get a server is not reachable error and the window to put the code in from the support website is for some reason cut off at the bottom and I cannot scroll down to finish the process. Game is literally unplayable for me. Not sure if it is a Windows 11 issue but I have yet to find a solution that works. This should not be an issue to begin with.
I'm 50-50 for this one. For the 'Yes'. 1. Aside from the story, the game gives you a lot of freedom to customize, to explore, to farm. 2. The game has well balance between fun and challenge. 3. It's a beautiful game even by today standard. 4. Anime. 5. It's actually much better than some of the newer games published by the same company. For the 'No'. 1. The mechanic design is terrible, almost everything bound by animation; if the first skill animation haven't done playing then you can do nothing but walk and crouch. Even AI party members struggle to perform because of it. 2. Map design only good for players but not AI. 3. Stingy vertical mouse traverse. you can't look up high enough and neither low, about everything beyond 60-65 degree off the center line of your FOV can kill you, and all you can do is either to run or dodge or die. 4. Your AI party members are only good for support. 5. Real difficulty dictates by level, both your and the enemies'. 6. A good chunk of the gameplay involves Visual Novel that has two choices of one answer, and players' input must be consist, but the good news is most of the scenes can be skipped. 7. No mid-game pause even if you're alone. 8. Bugs involve self-support skills. Casting the same effect erases rather than renews unless the effect isn't your.
