fun game but never pay full price. $50 for a silly baseball game that takes forever to find an online game is absurd. wait for it to be on sale. EA is a terrible company
It's good. Probably better than any other baseball game that's been released in the past 20 years. Shame EA bought them, as we'll probably never see another one.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
All-time low is the lowest price we've recorded for this game since we started tracking it.

$45 for this game is a little out there, but I did get when on sale. If you want to charge that much for a game then make a new one and not post a 3yr old game for the same as a game like Arc Raiders. That is a serious statement. Other than my stomach feeling off seeing the price, this game is truly awesome. Where to start? Modes, lots of modes. Whether you want to do solo franchise, or take to online leagues, or even just play to play, go for the pennant, there are a plethora of options. Franchise is awesome, and it is being you can either just pick teams, create your own league to match the MLB or any league you choose with teams, divisions, conferences, etc. AND follow it up with drafting a team. Now, you have drafted your team but don't like the colors or logos? Look no further for you can make your own design and there is plenty of items to choose from. The customization for your team and branding it how you want to in the game is extremely lovable. Not to mention, you can play a franchise with a friend and the devs did great by having one player pitch while other fields and switch on batters and the other person controllers runners while one bats. I mean that itself makes all that you do as you play with a friend feel involving. Player growth, signing players, picking your stadium, the sound effects for Ks, SBs, Rs, stupendous. 9/10 and a 9 for two things. the price should be lower that $45 change my mind. Two, the CPU hitters making contact on CBs, sliders going out of the zone and way down and in is kind of crazy when they manage contact until you pitch a 4 seam that they just get through the gap because you can't play a shift. The CPU hitting against you is somewhat annoying when punchout pitches IRL don't punch em out in the game. EVERYTHING ELSE is admirable and lovable. Playing this game with someone as Co Op or even Vs is awesome. It is the MLB Show of PC.
Best baseball game ever made LOL ~ Franchise has NO cap so you can keep playing year after year. Difficulty slider can be tweaked, rosters, uniforms, teams can be customized. Awesome game. Especially since it goes on sale for like $4.99-$9.99 a few times a year.
If you like fun baseball games, then this is a winner. Simple to learn, lots of customization. Fun. The way baseball was meant to be played.
Like NES Baseball Stars but some serious issues. Super unbalanced. Feels like it was rushed. If ya want some simple pvp its fine. Youll sit there waiting for a game with 5 other people also waiting. The online leagues are basic and dont even track league leaders or proper standings. No trades, waivers, free agents, minors, just your basic 20 man roster. Super boring. No Allstar games. The game cheats at times for NPCs. First tip. If you see a batter who looks like a good option to lay in one looking for an easy out dont do it. No matter how bad thet are they will get a hit or put it in the stands for you everytime. Goes like this. You either strike them out or youre in big trouble. The NPC will never foul a bad pitch in play and when they do its a hit or homerun 80% of the time. You will at times throw 60 pitches to get 6 outs becauee theres so many fouled off out of play balls. Fkn insane and stupid af. Not enough balls put in play ever not matter how bad the pitch is they swing at. Whenever you swing at a pitch outside the box you get a foul or bad hit in play and out everytime. The NPC will foul off into the benches using many pitches wasting your pitchers arm and many times will get a hit and even homeruns when you pitch off the plate. Basically when its time to get smoked you do and there is no stopping it with any amount of skill. They will just rally on amazing pitch sets and tattoo any pitch they see no matter if its on or off the plate right over the fence once they get their runners on bases. Happens at least once per game where the NPC takes some seriously cheap hits from great pitching combos all in a row then right back to normal again lol. K city. The first base Ump is a crackhead. Edit..just counted last at bat.. NPC fouled off 15 times in a row. Craziness. edit. Tracked a 1st inning where my pitcher threw 40+ pitches and still a 0-0 score at the end. Each batter took up over ten pitches in fouls. Also the loyalty systems is just stupid. There is no way to reward your people other than the random events its gives. Most are negative and take away loyalties and for way more then what rewards give. Your team will always be losing its loyalty Unreal. DONT EVER PLAY ONE PLAYER ITS BROKEN UNBALANCED TRASH!!!! It will drive you into madness. They should rename the game to "Foul Foul Foul Hit Foul Foul Foul Homerun" or just "Strike'em Out or Youre Cooked" both capture the game's essence.
Simply the best baseball game ever. As someone who's played the series since the first game, if you think you're gonna like this game from the looks of it, trust me you will absolutely love it and then some. Criminally underrated series.
If you like baseball, pick this up on sale and you'll enjoy.
