Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Sep 14 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The couch coop just did not work for us in a very "they did it wrong" way. We had one player having disconnects that after they reconnected ended up with "ready up, the game will start when everyone else readies up.". Which is inconvenient enough for us to go 'oh well, we have other things to to other than troubleshoot a game that includes our phones'. Good luck with the push to make it just a PC game and still charging full price I guess?
I like it, my wife loves it. We are playing it while travelling, on a laptop computer with phones instead of controllers. It works w/o problem on a 10 year old Android device and an equally old iPhone. Awesome. We also play Jaws of the Lion (the boardgame!) at home and the vibes are similar. I have always something to complain, so in case you want to know about some game design shortcomings: The classes are not super-duper great. I definitely like the fact that there are explicitly simple and complicated classes. But the mage, for example, is more like a weird mix of (weak) ranged damage and teleporting. That is until and including level 5 ... where I decided that I'd rather play a different class. This could be mitigated by just adding more cards. Card that the player than chooses from. There isn't a great reason for the progression to be so linear. You could easily have a mage that specializes on support, buffs, teleporting/shoving OR damage. Just add more cards to pick from. I really like the pyromaniac. His tactical options are truly different from the other characters and yet coherent around the fire theme. He incidentally also is a strong damage dealer - which is important. Another shortcoming: items and meals and especially weapons are fairly expensive given their small impact. Please, dear game designer, let me combine stuff to arrive at some wild combination that oneshots bosses. Let me break your game. On my first playthrough I won't discover those killer combinations, anyway. By keeping everything "balanced" and nerfed, you are also killing the fun.

Epic Games time played: 5 hours An okay idea overall with simpler Gloomhaven, it was originally terrible with forcing you to use phone to play game (first rating: 6/10), but PC only option is getting better. I do kind of wish there were faster battle speed options though... (current rating: 7/10)
I'm in two minds about this game... but I imagine it's mainly who you play with. It suggests it's easy enough for non gamers, but it's surprisingly hard. It ended up taking us about 33 hours... somehow, and the ending was, to put it bluntly... awful. The game just ended, not with fireworks, but with a wet fart. About 5 hours in, 2 of us decided we didn't like our characters, but our only option was to completely restart the game. How's that acceptable? Take Baldur's Gate, for example, if you aren't enjoying your character, you can just change it. The fact that's not in this game is insane. Also, my daughter chose the Rogue, but didn't want to fight, while my friend picked the Fire Mage, but didn't like them. He wanted to be the Rogue or the Archer, and she wanted to be a healer. TOUGH! Once picked, you're locked in. There were a few moments which were fun, but overall, nah. We had so much money, but almost every item sucked. Honestly, one of the most expensive items was "summon an ally who has 12 health and does 3 damage"... yay? I did enjoy the story, but the game felt like it was lacking something fun. The ending was so bad, I had to Google if the game had multiple endings because I assumed we did something wrong and got the bad ending. Nope... just the wet fart I mentioned earlier. Shame.
So, I have played a Trial Version, and it finished after tutorial mission and one custom mission(with bug and skeletons). If you count them, it doesn't sound like "Play the first four missions of Sunderfolk for free!" The game is more puzzle then tactics and it's a shame. It has almost nothing from RPG and a bit from tactics. Sunderfolk looks and plays very good. Mobile controller is excellent! But please, too many false advertisement here

There is definitely innovative tech here and it is great to see the gaming industry forging new paths. However, me and 3 others played this on our couch with our phones, like this game is supposed to be played, and found that it... kind of sucks. The story is really bad and the controls on the phone is a bit finnicky. We ended up playing Jack Box and had a far better time.
Great long-distance relationship game (it's honestly surprising how limited the option in this kind of sector still are), streaming-coop works fine most of the times, no bugs, all the game promises works solidly for me. It's got some interesting gameplay mechanics, even for rpg veterans, stays engaging and keeps being motivating. Fights are engaging and challenging at times. Visuals are nothing spectacular obviously but it's got a nice, characteristic artstyle at least. Voice work could have been a bit more creative, always weird if monsters with 6 arms sound like a little boy, even in a cute-cartoonish setting like this one. All in all the devs created something very nice here and I hope it can be an example for other devs for this kind of coop experience.

A very good tabletop game with a polished app that works well. More developers should follow suit with this type of “couch” co-op model.
