For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Skirmish mode !!! Oyuna çatışma modunun gelmesi gerekiyor.
As someone who loves castles and Tower Defense, the freeform castle building and sieging is all I could want in a game. The main story line campaign missions were fun and (mostly) not too difficult on Normal mode, and easily 40+ hours of gameplay with other campaigns available. Graphics look decent, and the variety of defensive structures and tools are really amazing. You can dig or fill in moats, create wooden and fire traps, place small to large towers, build thick walls of stone or wood, and manage economic output to pay for your military expenditures. The units are also decently varied, without being too many all at once. Without a doubt, the most frustrating parts of the game are with AI pathing, both for your own non-combat peasants and the enemy. It's hard to see that one hole in your defensive wall, but the enemy makes its way right for it. The peasants (farmers, woodcutters, miners, etc.) also don't reconsider their paths when a gate is reopened manually, so they end up taking a much longer route or even a dead-end path, and there's literally no way to redirect them back. They even walk through flames and die. Frustrating! The main campaign missions 15 and 18 are difficult, even on Easy mode. I had to watch YouTube videos on how to approach from the side with ditchdiggers and bowmen before I was able to get it done on the 4th or 5th try. They seriously need to tone down the difficulty on these maps for this edition. Overall, fun but sometimes frustrating for those who love "castle sims!"
Back in 2001, I used to boot up Stronghold and just play the Free Build mode for hours: the first-ever Castle Sim. I'd stare at the mills, the bakers, the fletchers and even the moat diggers, truly amazed at how in-depth and beautiful everything looked. Then 2023 rolled in, and the Definitive Edition brought it all back in splendour. It's a brilliant game, positively remastered to keep up with some of the other strategy games out there at the moment. It is a product of its time however, so some of its gameplay features and atmosphere might not be to everyone's liking. For this big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nerd, though, I'm plenty happy. More wood needed, m'lord.
Stronghold: Definitive Edition reminded me why the original game was so easy to love in the first place. It has that rare ability to make castle building feel personal. You are not just placing walls and units on a map — you are creating a working medieval settlement, piece by piece, and watching it grow into something worth protecting. That feeling is still incredibly satisfying. What I enjoy most is how naturally the game mixes peaceful management with sudden pressure. One moment you are worrying about food, wood, and popularity, and the next you are rushing to reinforce your defenses because an attack is coming. That constant shift keeps the game engaging. It never feels like two separate systems forced together; the economy and the warfare depend on each other in a way that makes every decision matter. The castle-building side is where the game really shines. Laying out farms, workshops, stockpiles, and defensive positions is simple to understand but surprisingly rewarding to master. A good castle does not happen by accident, and that is what makes success feel earned. When everything is running smoothly and your fortress starts to look both efficient and intimidating, the game becomes hard to put down. The battles are also still a lot of fun because they are easy to read and full of tension. There is something very satisfying about seeing enemy troops march toward your walls while your archers fire from above and your defenses finally prove their value. On the other side, launching an attack feels just as good when your preparation pays off. The action is not overly complicated, but it creates strong, memorable moments. What makes this edition work is that it does not feel like it is trying to reinvent the game. It feels more like a respectful upgrade of something that already had a strong identity. The classic charm is still there, but the presentation is cleaner and the whole experience feels more comfortable on a modern system. That is exactly what I would want from a definitive edition of an old favorite. Overall, Stronghold: Definitive Edition is the kind of strategy game that stays appealing because its core ideas are still strong. Building, defending, managing, and surviving all come together in a way that feels timeless. It is nostalgic, yes, but it is also genuinely fun on its own merits. For anyone who enjoys medieval strategy and the satisfaction of building a fortress that can actually survive a siege, this game is absolutely worth playing.
