Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Stoneshard is a challenging turn-based RPG set in an open world. Experience the unforgiving life of a medieval mercenary: travel across the war-torn kingdom, fulfill contracts, fight, mend your wounds and develop your character without any restrictions.
There’s no hand-holding, and the game will punish you for your mistakes: you’ll have to carefully prepare for each expedition, plan your actions in advance, and weigh your resources against possible risks. Saving can only be done in certain spots, so each wrong move can potentially lead to a swift death and lost progress.

Open World
War always leaves its mark: villages lie in ruins, dungeons are infested with monsters, and old roads are abandoned. Travel through Aldor and learn more about its past.
Caravan
Gather your own caravan to travel the world. Acquire upgrades for it and recruit followers - their knowledge and skills will likely benefit you along the way. Feeling weary? Return to your camp to hear new stories or just rest by the fire.
Economy
The wartime economy is ruthless, but it also presents many opportunities: fulfill contracts, hunt for treasure, trade in a variety of goods, and travel the land to earn your fortune.

Character Development
Experiment with 200+ abilities and 400+ equipment pieces without any class or level restrictions. Create your very own playstyle!
Enemy Variety
Take part in intense battles against numerous factions. Brigands, abominable cults, the undead - all of them require a unique approach.
Tactical Battles
Only the thoughtful ones shall prevail - plan a few turns ahead, adapt to your surroundings, and fully utilize your character’s strengths.

Health System
Master the simple but deep health system: cauterize bleeding wounds, relieve pain with alcohol and drugs, practice bloodletting and heal your maladies with various concoctions.
Psyche
Different in-game situations have a distinct influence on your character’s mental condition. High morale may turn the tide in your favor when fighting even the most hopeless of battles, while low sanity brings panic attacks and paranoia.
Permadeath
Do you like risk? Then try out the Ironman mode, where every decision is irreversible and your character dies once and for all.
New Content
Additional settlements, enemy factions, and even more activities, equipment, and abilities.
Main Story
To solve the mystery of Stoneshards, you’ll have to undertake a long journey full of dangers, hardships, and adventures. What choices will you make in this bleak world?

Reviews
This game is difficult for the sake of being difficult. I've given this game a real try, including the demo and I just do not enjoy my time playing it. First you pick a 'class' at the start of the game without any real indication of how balanced they are. I make the mistake of picking the hunter which basically means I have a -2 modifier on my annoyingly limited storage the rest of the game while I tote around some magical item that doesn't really seem to help. No way to change that unless I want to start over. To be successful at combat you have to cheese it, at least in the early game. I understand some people enjoy real punishing gameplay, but there aren't any setting options to modify that experience to your own enjoyment so you're SOL if you don't enjoy their balancing. To get any enjoyment out of combat, I feel like I have to go watch videos to learn all the cheesy mechanics like shouting all the time to try and pull single combatants from groups. Bleh. Every time you die, you go back to your last save point so have fun wasting hours of your day re-doing tasks you already did because you died if you didn't save recently. It's a survival game too so I get to spend half my time jankily running across the map to the lake to get water then running somewhere else to hunt or gather some food. Then running to the dungeon, clearing two rooms, getting my ass kicked, retreating to heal, then running back across the map to sleep because my character needs to sleep and eat. If the storage situation was better, this wouldn't be so painful, but as it is, you can't really ensure you have enough food, water, medicine, and tools to spend time away from resources so it just feels like you're constantly interrupted by your character's needs. In hours of gameplay, it really makes you feel like you've accomplished nothing.

The game has a lot of promise, even though it lacks polish. It was really interesting and I wanted to see where it could go when there is an actual full story. Now we're 6 years out from launch and it still just isn't a game. If you look at their section of the Early Access segment which covers which features they still need to implement it ends with speaking about adding a story when all those features are added. At that rate you're probably looking at a 10 year development before the game is even close to feature complete. The game was not ready for early access, I think the devs are just not making enough progress for anyone buying the game to have any confidence that it will actually release. I think the fact that they're asking for people to buy another supporter pack to support development is proof that this is likely to never make it out of EA. If after 6 years of people buying an unreleased game you're needing to ask for additional money from that community you're as likely to squander the new influx of cash as much as the previous. If the game ever came out it could absolutely be something with sinking time in. As is I absolutely would recommend people steer clear of it. I think the devs are a very bad example of the early access release type.
All the ingredients are present to become a masterpiece with a little bit of gameplay tweaks here and there. The game is hard, indeed, but nowhere as hard as people making it to be. You just need to be careful with what you do and plan ahead your food and medical supplies. Don't expect to fight a hord of buffalo easily by yourself. Don't expect to have an easy time fighting 5 enemies at once. Don't expect to survive the next fight if you don't heal yourself and if you're starving and without enough food to last the next fight. I'd say the game is more ''tedious'' than difficult. But still, I love it.
Something else is wrong here. I suspect there is a horrible east-european wife behind all of this. Whatever it is the dev has some kind of demon on his shoulder. He doesn´t want his game to be legendary, he just wants a continuos flow of revenue. save anytime feature and character creator please we are aksing you for years. no more dlc until 1.0 please say goodbye to your vision and do whats best for your creation. and don´t forget to torture yourself with your own creation from time to time instead of painting tents
I bought this game when it first released on Steam a long time ago, and I’ve been waiting for it to become something I could really play beyond the opening area and the first few quests. I tried it again today for about two hours, and after the first fight I was so badly wounded that all I could do was bleed to death and die while trying to make it back to the village. No tips or information on what could heal me or where I could go to get said healing. With that said, it feels like the developers have added very little to improve the core gameplay experience and make the game truly playable. Character creation is still basically a placeholder, just like it was at launch. The same is true for many spell types and skills, which still have placeholder elements from day one. There’s also no real controller support. In the end, I feel the developers have failed at the basics of making the game fun and playable. Instead of focusing on improving the foundation, they seem to be slowly drip-feeding additional content into a game that still feels like an unfinished skeleton.
Remember how this was planned for an original Nintendo Switch release? Yea.....it's been that long.
