Stoneshard is a hardcore turn-based RPG about the harsh life of a medieval mercenary: travel with your own caravan, descend into procedurally generated dungeons, learn new skills, survive hunger and injuries - and remember, every mistake can mean death and loss of progress.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Stoneshard is a challenging turn-based RPG set in an open world. Experience the unforgiving life of a medieval mercenary: travel across the war-torn kingdom, fulfill contracts, fight, mend your wounds and develop your character without any restrictions.
There’s no hand-holding, and the game will punish you for your mistakes: you’ll have to carefully prepare for each expedition, plan your actions in advance, and weigh your resources against possible risks. Saving can only be done in certain spots, so each wrong move can potentially lead to a swift death and lost progress.

Open World
War always leaves its mark: villages lie in ruins, dungeons are infested with monsters, and old roads are abandoned. Travel through Aldor and learn more about its past.
Caravan
Gather your own caravan to travel the world. Acquire upgrades for it and recruit followers - their knowledge and skills will likely benefit you along the way. Feeling weary? Return to your camp to hear new stories or just rest by the fire.
Economy
The wartime economy is ruthless, but it also presents many opportunities: fulfill contracts, hunt for treasure, trade in a variety of goods, and travel the land to earn your fortune.

Character Development
Experiment with 200+ abilities and 400+ equipment pieces without any class or level restrictions. Create your very own playstyle!
Enemy Variety
Take part in intense battles against numerous factions. Brigands, abominable cults, the undead - all of them require a unique approach.
Tactical Battles
Only the thoughtful ones shall prevail - plan a few turns ahead, adapt to your surroundings, and fully utilize your character’s strengths.

Health System
Master the simple but deep health system: cauterize bleeding wounds, relieve pain with alcohol and drugs, practice bloodletting and heal your maladies with various concoctions.
Psyche
Different in-game situations have a distinct influence on your character’s mental condition. High morale may turn the tide in your favor when fighting even the most hopeless of battles, while low sanity brings panic attacks and paranoia.
Permadeath
Do you like risk? Then try out the Ironman mode, where every decision is irreversible and your character dies once and for all.
New Content
Additional settlements, enemy factions, and even more activities, equipment, and abilities.
Main Story
To solve the mystery of Stoneshards, you’ll have to undertake a long journey full of dangers, hardships, and adventures. What choices will you make in this bleak world?
Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Reviews
RNG dependent alongside saving only on rest makes the experience nothing but annoying and a waste of time. I do not recommend as there is little enjoyment to be had. I wasted eight hours on this garbage, and it is a shame because there is so much potential.
criticism about the game taking super long to release is valid, but this game is awesome regardless. will easily net you hundreds of hours of content that constantly feels fresh regardless, and its super fun. its pretty hard too

I am just feeling I have to write a positive review to counter the negative reviews complaining solely about the savegame system. It is intentional und reflects the character of the game. The devs want you to feel threatened throughout each little adventure. Planning ahead is crucial. Think of it a as a "real-life" experience. Being able to save all the time would kill a lot of the thrill this game breathes throughout. So what do we have here? I´d describe it as a worthy unofficial follow-up to the legendary Ultima series. The game is filled with detail: in graphics, in items, and most importantly, in gameplay depth. Also, the music fits extraordinarily well. You are thrown into a harsh and unforgiving environment where every (or at least every 2nd or 3rd) false decision could lead to your death. Also, the game almost never gives you gifts. Most of the steps upward are earned the hard way, and rather slowly. The rewards for completing a quest are often eaten up by the blacksmith who repairs your gear, the items you need to buy for your next journey, and yourself as an eating being, of course. But if you plan carefully and manage to raise your character despite all adversities, the game feels very, very rewarding. Sure, in it´s current state, there is not much of a storyline. The game is mainly a sandbox. BUT the prologue of the game shows all the qualities of the story writers. I am not convinced by now, but very hopeful, that they will manage to implement a story that is worthy the excellent base game we now already have.

Look, I get it; it's meant to be hard. But hard should come with rewarding. 99% of the kills you succeed in give garbage loot. Literal garbage. Broken tool no one will buy, literal "junk" worth less than 10 coins and takes up sometimes 4 slots of finite bag space. Save scumming takes some of the edge off but save before you loot a chest and get junk, only to die later, reload, and reloot the chest only to get ambushed by something. The early game is a major hurdle, killing the enjoyment of many a new player, ask the community what to do and they just say be careful or git gud. Well, there's no getting good for a lot of people unless you get lucky, you can be infinitely cautious, taking your time, only to encounter RNG slap in the face. Hope you saved. It'd be charming if it werent so punishing; if there was an easier mode to it i'd recommend it 100 times over. I DO enjoy the combat -- for what it is, i DO enjoy the RNG for what it is, and I can say i LOVE the aesthetic and diversity of gear and styles. But its simply not fun for me, and simply not something i'd ever recommend to anyone in it's given state.
