For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Started the game, character models didn't load in, only teeth and eyes. Restarting did not help and neither did changing the options. After uninstalling and reinstalling it worked. To my shock the models look much worse than the models from the first game. Very lifeless faces. Victorias hair is a shaggy blob. The backgrounds look much worse too. Honestly I thought the first game looked pretty nice and detailed for it's time (besides the NPCs which were really ugly!) but this is overall just ugly and often pixelated. The animations also often stutter. The camera angles are awful, you don't get an indication where you can change the angle and even if you saw from another angle that there is space it does not mean you walk there. You also still don't have any item indicators so good luck scanning your entire screen with your mouse to see if the mouse icon changes. Sound design is super annoying, turned the sound effects waaaaay down almost immediately because there are a lot of random ambience sound effects and they repeat often. UI is horrible, reading the tiny phone screen to navigate is a task for sure. The inventory system is so bad it's kinda offensive. You can carry 16 spaces and each item is a number of spaces big. If your inventory is full you need to put stuff into storage. So essentially, this exists to waste your time and make you run back and forth. Also the first thing my character did was shove an entire mattress into her pocket. She did not tell me why she did it. She did not commented it. She didn't even look at the mattress before. You get thrown into the game, Victoria is on a new case with a new partner, she has been for a while in fact. You get a loooot of text to catch up and there are a lot of names you have never heard of too. It does in fact not pick up where the first game left you! And reading other reviews on this it's not looking good either. There are scenes now in which you can die! Isn't that exciting? You get to replay parts of the game you played moments ago again and again if you are too slow or make a mistake! So awesome. There are times in which I would love for the player character to share their thoughts with me, so I know what in the world they are trying to do. This was a problem in the first game too. What was not a problem were unnecessay stupid comments like when your phone rings (obnoxiously) and the character goes "Oh! It has to be X calling me, I should probably pick up my phone and maybe they can help me!" What in the world, just pick up the damn phone? I only played a bit but I had a bad time the entire time and it's not because the game is old but because it is very badly designed.

A good point and click game. better than Still LIfe 1, in the sense that this one you feel more like an actual detective using an FBI kit and more power of deductions. some puzzles i had to go through online help but not too many and not as tedious as SL1 . the plot twist seemed like they were just trying to forcibly extend the game more. but overall give it about a 7/10 rating.
There are no character models only on Steam It only loaded the hair, eyes and teeth very annoying frustrating and disappointing It has non of the charm of the first Still Life. The plot is simply boring and the whole concept of typical maniac from C movie makes it even worse ...
20 hours of pure bliss, this game is waay harder than the first and my notepad is loaded and happy :3

Standalone review (not comparing to the first game): A whodunit that takes too much from TV magic (think CSI) to progress the story while not providing much of a whodunit to solve. You spend an extremely long time in a single location attempting to solve the "mystery", with flashbacks that will make no sense unless you've played the first game. Concepts start in the Saw genre, which could have been interesting if maintained. Instead, it shifts gears into "but THEN" and rapidly loses cohesion. Characters are not memorable, the 2nd female protagonist has no character growth at all despite the trauma she goes through (again, Saw... but complete failure at the concept), and the side characters have no personality to speak of. The inventory system creates unnecessary time padding, the movement and camera controls are often frustrating, and it's buggy, especially toward the end. If you don't save often, you are in for pain. And as I've not seen anyone mention this in other reviews: pacing! The game has extremely poor pacing, with multiple unnecessary twists and an ending that takes FAR too long to get to the obvious conclusion. Overall this is not a good game in any genre it's attempting to emulate; it falls flat, is frustrating and lacks depth, and the puzzles are nowhere near the realism it's attempting to emulate (again, Saw). Review based on the first game: Massive disappointment. If you were hoping for a satisfying conclusion to the original Still Life, you won't get it. While the first game ends with the killer being rather obvious, the flashbacks do that ending no service, and leave a very sour taste. If you were also hoping for similar structure (but improved) - again, be disappointed. We do maintain the "switch between two protagonists", and there are names we recognize... but those are the only similarity between these games. Final Thoughts: Don't bother unless you're a super fan of the genre and will play anything - bugs, warts and all.
Cancer.
Ok game. But the story barely connects to the first game and not the greatest ending. But overall ok.
