ゲーム自体は好きだが、DLCが肥大化しすぎている。 定額で３万越え、サマーセールでも２万近くする。 全てのDLC込みで購入できてるのは発売から１０年間DLCを買い足し続けてる人間くらいで、途中参入と復帰のハードルが著しく高い。 最近はサブスクサービスで月額1400円くらいでフルDLCを遊べるらしいので月額課金制やサブスク解除の手間に忌避感が無いならそっちを使えばいいと思う。 数年ぶりに復帰しようとする人間はDLCも中途半端に持ってるのでなんか損した気分になるが。

Bugs, half-baked DLCs, money grabbing, bad designs, etc. It's a fun game that makes you grow to hate it.
Great game to make you feel like you've only played a couple hours when it's been two days
The death spirals of this game are so ridiculous. I fight for decades against an energy crisis and then a food crisis and then consumer goods before any of the others can resolve and all the while a -1 to volatile motes I'm not even using ends up crashing my whole economy and wasting hours of my day trying to fix. Every game I have I enjoy until several hours in a dormant empire just appears out of nowhere and kills everything I have at like 10,000 power ships when I have 3000 for my whole fleet and they have 8 fleets. Or this volatile motes crap. Its so in depth with its mechanics and so interconnected that fixing anything burdens something else. Need more alloys? Dedicate your entire economy to producing them and now you have a consumer goods crash. Want to expand pops? Well now everyones starving, growth crashed and theres crime lords everywhere. On cadet.
This game has a sharp learning curve. Once you get over it, though, its addicting. A possible critique is that its a bit of a menu simulator with a space empire theme, but if you are the type that likes both build crafting and roleplaying in space, this game seems unmatched. The story that comes from each run, whether you win or lose on the galactic stage, is more memorable than any game I have encountered.
