They released a DLC that added so many bugs it made the entire game unplayable rage bait WITH THE DLC DISABLED. Probably used AI code or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with no play testing.

mixed feelings: game feels broken. Design flaws. Bad AI. Some of the greated addons are in the workshop while the paid DLC often don't add anything interesting. I would give it a 6.5/10, but it is vastly overrated on steam, so a thumbs down.

Stellaris, the best game that never works in Multi-player.... While the game play civization building is fun, deep and engaging... the Co-oP of this game is Opt out... want to play with mods... you better have a deep amount of patients cause things are going to unstable and saves seem to become corrupted even if you are using a older version of the game... Update to kill stability... update to kill mods... update to uninstall....

space game good
one of the best paradox games imo. however, it suffers from paradox syndrome of infinite dlcs.
This game has for a long time been my go to strategy game, but with the most recent dlc Nomads adding AI generated voices as well as costing $25 I just can't convince myself to recommend it to people. It is a fun game, but the dlc pricing and increased AI use dampens the fun dramatically. I don't want to support a company that is heading that direction.
