Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

i was very hyped to play this game. first thing i disliked was the UI, very odd. way too many unnecessary loading screens where most of them are just to try to "woah" you but after a while you are getting annoyed. The idea of the story is cool. But the whole game is very uneventful. I can not remember much about any of the quests. I dont even think i enjoyed this game after 20 hours in. The base building felt very forces, so did the planet exporation. After a while you see most planets are empty except for the same building over and over again. The weapons are all boring. And there is no good named weapons you could aim to get each play through. Just have to look at each and see if it is good. A lot of fetch quests with no deep meaning. I regret buying the premium edition since i have zero clue what i got. And the DLC is so boring i stopped playing within an hour 1.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Hello fellow gamers, let me tell you a story. It's a bit sad, a bit disappointing and a little bit tragic — much like the current state of the gaming industry as a whole (with a few exceptions). I got this game as a birthday gift a few years ago. Curious, I started playing, and to no one's surprise I ragequit within the first few hours, outraged that a studio like Bethesda could ship something like this in 2023. Is this really the best you've got? Years went by, and curiosity got the better of me, so I gave it another shot. I'd stopped expecting a company stuck in 2010 to feel present and self-aware in 2026. So what do you actually get in this 2010-era Bethesda "masterpiece"? Yes, I'm aware of the actual release date. Picture Frankenstein's monster — stitched together, but by several different surgeons working on different schedules, and at least a few of them hammered. On paper, it could work(while you are also drunk). Progression and economy There's a full upgrade system: weapons, equipment, ships, base-building and home furnishing. You can customize weapons, design your own modular ship, and push gear from standard to legendary with various mods. So far, so good — that's the pitch. Then you actually play it. I'm level 35, I own a handful of ships, I've made exactly one ship modification (thanks, Reddit), and I've upgraded one weapon to 4-star legendary. In the process, every credit I'd saved for something meaningful evaporated — legendary stat rerolls alone can burn through hundreds of thounsands creds. Either there's some grand plan where a few more zones and levels turn you into a millionaire, or you're signing up for an absurd grind: quests pay pennies next to what ships and gear actually cost. And even once you've farmed the loot, you still have to burn real time sitting on a bench waiting two in-game days for vendors to refill their credits, just so you can sell it. Story and dialogue Here's where you're really in for a treat. Want stilted persuasion conversations built on hidden stat checks that nobody bothers to explain, so sometimes they land and sometimes they flop for no clear reason? It's here. Want story that builds toward immersion and then resolve in ways that make no sense? Also here. Want to bribe a supposed millionaire with a whopping 1,000 credits, because apparently that works? Yep, that too. Space Now for the main event: space, ships, and planetary exploration. Jump into a system hoping to explore, and you'll find 8 planets or moons — remember the marketing? "1,000 planets." Right. Want to land somewhere? Enjoy the unskippable cutscene. Want to go somewhere else? More cutscenes. Also worth metioning that most of those planets have nothing apart from some fauna and flora, no POI nothing. Locations Someone clearly put real effort into a handful of hand-crafted locations, and those are genuinely enjoyable — if only there were enough of them. For every good one, there's a pile of generated filler, and I wouldn't even mind that if there were more than a handful of prefabs in rotation. It feels like Bethesda built five templates, rotated each one a few degrees, and called it a day. Even story-critical locations sometimes don't hold together — not "confusing maze" territory, just genuinely nonsensical: ship layouts nobody with common sense would design, let alone use twice before scrapping the thing. The last thing that keeps me going is that i want to build a fkin big ship and then never play this game ever again. 4 different persons came up with ideas and they implemented them in a way that they did not spoke to each other. This game could be worth when the price would be like 10euro, but certainly not 50.
This was the lesson to always - without exception - trust Steam reviews and never again buy a game with a “Mixed” rating. Within the first few seconds, the game already managed to insult me by stating that my character is “she/her”, as if I were somehow blind and unable to see that she has boobs. Then the boredom started and continued for more than four hours. During that time, I genuinely tried my best to find something positive about the game. I failed. So please, do not get fooled by the nice-looking trailers or by some “expert” giving the game a positive review and saying things like, “It’s not that bad, don’t let the negative online reviews influence you.” You will be better off replaying the worst Mass Effect game - Andromeda. Trust the Steam reviews. Stay away from this overpriced pile of crap!
Bought the Digital Premium Edition and can't even play this POS without random crashes every 30-60 minutes. And when that's not happening, every other quicksave has a chance to crash the game too. Who would've thunk that if you take a 15-year-old engine, slap a "2" on the end, and try to build a game on it, it would still run like garbage? Hell, even my 4,200-mod Skyrim build runs smoother than a clean install of this atrocity. Someone hit me up when they fix this BS.
A shameful display from a AAA developer.
Honestly Boring. There is so much endless wandering before you can even get anywhere unique or relevant.
A game that shows incompetence of how ''modern'' developers and studio treats its players. Empty artificial planets, boring itself, and then how bethesda ''developer'' answers to every negative coment.. This game is possible reason how bethesda ruined its own popularity, and everything for future
Alright, I gotta be 100% honest when writing this review. The game isn't totally terrible.. It's got some serious issues, yes. Mainly the fact that the main story is the least interesting thing to ever exist and has no incentivization to actually complete at all. I still haven't completed the main story, not even once. That's how boring it's quests are and how little it incentivizes me to play it. Some other issues I have are as follows: Ship customization; Ships are too big for my liking, I love small fighter type ships, and I love flying solo with no companions. Why am I not allowed to build a tiny little ship that's just a fighter? Why does everything have to be five times the size of a double decker bus? The SysDef vs Crimson Fleet storyline; This is by far the second most boring storyline in the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. I am a tried and true law obedient, if I ever disobey the law it will probably be the same day I die. So imagine my disappointment when I find out to take out the crimson fleet, I have to do some super sleuth, 007, hitman action. I HATE these kinds of missions. Especially because SysDef CLEARLY has the resources and intel to take out the Crimson Fleet well before this, the story is USELESS. I'd rather spend my time and effort shooting every crimson fleet ship in the universe than spend another MINUTE amongst those ANIMALS the game calls Pirates. Worst decision ever, absolute garbage, I HATE the Crimson Fleet, I HATE IT. Upgrading gear; It's just bad, I don't understand why you can't just enhance the gun normally, without it just getting higher damage number. I feel like legendary guns with special perks should get enhancing tiers, to incentivize a hunt for that kind of gear, and then you can improve the power/duration of the special perks by enhancing the tier of the weapon/armor. The good stuff, stuff I like: The UC Vanguard Anti-Xeno questline was fun, I enjoyed it, it was well written, and it was genuinely fun to play through... Alright that's it, enjoy my review.
Installed some of there recent recommended and paid creations and the game is so unstable now that I literally can't space travel anywhere w/o it crashing. So wild I paid for pushed mods that made the game unplayable, really a terrible feeling.
