Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Sep 12 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The 3rd-person-heavy lightsabre combat action game “Star Wars: Jedi Knight – Jedi Academy” from 2003 technically-speaking is sequel to Jedi Outcast released in 2002, although story-wise rather peripherally connecting both games. You could consider Jedi Academy more like a separate game and storyline. During the plot progression, you’ll encounter old friends like Luke Skywalker and Kyle Katarn, but the main protagonists are their students. Within one year between both games, Raven Software has improved many shortcomings in lightsabre battle as well as force mechanics and made it a lot more fun. Probably the biggest differences apart from the protagonists are a much brighter, youthful setting compared to the sinister, eerie plot of Jedi Outcast as well as loosely connected missions instead of a coherent story thread from start to end. The plot can be summarised as the trials of a young Jedi apprentice who shows high potential by building his own lightsabre without guidance. Generally set in a background of Luke Skywalker trying to rebuild the Jedi Order, teachers and students become aware of a plot of a group of dark side disciples increasing their powers and numbers drastically. After about 10 hours play time in a completionist approach, here’s my pros/cons list: Pros: + still running well on modern systems like Windows 11 + much better, varied light sabre combat mechanics, including combos, movements and finishers + combat commands are getting executed much smoother + movement animations much more elegant as well + 3 lightsabre stances + 3 types of lightsabres to choose from + lightsabre customisation options + great looking slow-motion death animations + dark and light force powers, their use will be commented on as well, somewhat reflecting on your path in either direction + force powers and lightsabres available from the game’s beginning + easy switch between 1st and 3rd person perspective + varied missions and objectives + great soundtrack + trials of an aspiring Jedi apprentice with increase of force powers over the course of the missions + player can choose which force powers (dark/light) to upgrade + good video and 3D cutscenes + great Vjun level + Quake 3 engine-inherent clipping issues less noticeable + good ending although a bit exaggerated in my opinion + great multiplayer PvP matches Cons: - Q3 engine-inherent clipping issues still tarnish the overall game experience - Missing tutorial or hints which moves can be executed how, player must find out through trial and error or download the original manual PDF - Sudden story start - Handguns still have a terrible aim - 3 collections of missions with only a minimal story thread connecting them - Missing consequences of dark/light side power choice - Boring mission with ship crashed in desert - Some 3D cutscenes have a strange bug where the characters just stand around idly - Weapons other than lightsabres mostly useless - Nearly impossible to hit enemies in the speeder level - Less atmospheric than Jedi Outcast - Only one point in the game where the player actually must choose between the dark or light path - Ghost ending a bit strange Conclusion: Jedi Academy is much better in terms of game and combat mechanics compared to its predecessor Jedi Outcast. It’s more like a separate, stand-alone game and plot rather than true sequel to the story of the game released a year earlier. Shortcomings in plot and atmosphere are easily outweighed by the great gameplay feeling in lightsabre combat though. Recommended highly for anyone who loves the Star Wars setting and good lightsabre battles in varied though loosely connected missions. Rating: 6/10 points

Rosh Pennis can sloppy my blongo and die and maybe eat ♥♥♥♥ too Otherwise it's a classic for a reason, this game was half my childhood
great duels
At first glance might not appear great, but in overall is good. Different locations scenery and many aspects to lightsaber fights (many missions were actually impressive, considering it was made over 20 years ago) also follows the Dark Forces series which i had played when i was younger - played this one out of curiosity. Have not checked out thoroughly yet, but there might be good mods for this game available.
