I've never been offered such a lousy game on Steam, and I feel completely ripped off! In my opinion, this junk isn't worth $5. It's totally buggy when it comes to resource allocation and management. It contradicts the actual Star Trek: Voyager storyline in every way and is a slap in the face to all Star Trek fans! Since when is the Voyager a mining ship (extracting raw materials from planets)? You can’t even go 2 meters with the resources you get, and you’re not even able to leave the starting sector because everything is based on a random principle. The whole game concept is just ridiculous: Clicking on pictures and playing janitor to keep turning the lights on in every room over and over again. The developers should try playing their own game—but I guess nobody does, because then they might actually realize what we’ve been sold here as “Star Trek Voyager” for a lot of money: An outrage—I’m so angry...

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Disapproval. And I say this as a massive Star Trek fan who has watched every Voyager episode at least 4 times over. DLCs average at 5 missions / €11, 4 DLCs for the release year alone, including a DLC on release. DLC missions from 1 and 2 are pretty significant ones from the TV show, therefore something that could've easily been within the base game. Unless something radically changes, the game, so far, has released at €35, with an additional €12 DLC, and now a €10 DLC and a €30 expansion pass. Content so far is not worth €57, and I highly doubt the release year content will be worth €77, again, unless something drastically changes. Excusing anything as "indie team needs" with a Star Trek franchise item and a €77 price tag is simply not an honest thing. If you can afford to do a 30% sale 5 months after release, your pricing margin is absolutely egregious.
Let’s start with the negatives. The game is very scripted and linear. I was also a bit disappointed that the characters lack voice acting, and the game can feel a bit dull, primarily due to the absence of spoken dialog. It relies solely on text dialog, and I had hoped for more to really immerse myself in the game. If you’ve watched and loved the TV series, you might enjoy this, but it lacks certain elements that make it easier to get drawn into the experience. The graphics look good, but nothing more than that. However, the gameplay mechanics are very fun and can certainly offer an enjoyable gaming experience. The game runs as it should, and so far, I haven’t encountered any crashes, glitches, or bugs. If you liked the TV series, you might like this game too.
This game could be a lot better if they cared, but they don't. - The interface is a huge waste of space, and the giant fonts waste even more. - The interface is confusing. For example, the ship view says you're "missing technology" to upgrade a room. What technology? Who the ♥♥♥♥ knows, go ♥♥♥♥ yourself! The items in the tech tree aren't named the same as the rooms/upgrades they unlock on the ship view. - Manually tracking when research finishes so I can start the next thing is just tedious. Why can't I queue these up? - The story text is soooo slllloowww to appear. I'm almost afraid to type more in case I'm wrong here... maybe it was written to be read by first-graders. - The graphics, while pretty, are horribly unoptimized. How does a computer with 64GB of RAM, an RTX card, and 32 cores struggle to hit 60 FPS on what is effectively a 2D spreadsheet? That's some impressively bad programming. - Why does ship-to-ship combat end for the enemy the moment they lose a shield, but only ends for me when my ship is completely destroyed? - Why is everything in the interface so slow? Click... wait... click... wait. The entire point of the game is to click. Why make it so sllloowwwww? - Why does every room in the ship look nearly identical, with no labels except on mouse-over? If you're too cheap to hire good artists, at least give me persistent labels! - Why, when the fuel runs out, does the game shut everything off, but when the fuel comes back I have to manually turn it all back on again? Thanks for the pointless busywork. - The levels where you deliberately neuter the ship are more annoying than fun. Great, I spent ages researching upgrades... and now I'm on a level where they're all disabled and my hull takes damage just from existing. Good thing I spent all that time researching! - As I write this review, I realize I really don't like this game. This is a game I really want to like. I know it's just a glorified story-choice tree. This game could be a lot better if they cared, but they don't.
I really wanted to like this game. I read a lot of the negative reviews and figured it was just the usual. Having played it now I kinda get where other people are coming from. The RNG system is really bad, and I don't mean bad as in "punishing" I mean heavily stacked against the player even when the odds are supposedly good. During my first attempt to playthrough, I got 15 "bad" outcomes in a row which basically ended my run because I ran out of resources, and morale was so low that It became unrecoverable. And this is where I think most peoples problem lies. In the TV show, both the Starfleet and Maquis crew understood that they were in an impossible situation with very little hope of returning home but they stuck together and got on with it regardless. Get morale below 50% in the game and you'll be spammed with "PANIC" messages about how the crew are all going to leave. Not sure where exactly they are going to go but it makes no sense whatsoever. I've only accumulated about 7 hours of playtime and I can already see the game mechanics for what they are, and it's getting old already. The fact that many of the technologies are locked behind skipable events is quite irritating, it's like the devs wanted to offer the player "choices" that allow them to go off-canon but any choice which deviates from the TV show is punished pretty severely meaning that you can either do your own thing and have a terrible time, or follow the TV show and have a slightly less terrible time, either way, it sucks.
I really want to like this game, it hits fantastic nostalgia notes, I really enjoy planning out resource management, and room build order. I even really like preplanning who gets to go on away missions, because my choice actually matters. the Problem with this game, is the ship/system level missions that are flat RNG choices. theres very little way of buffing these options in advance, and the consequences of a failed RNG is immediate mission failure. Its immensely unsatisfying to get a mission failure result, for no other reason than the computer said so. it results in me save spamming until I can get through the story, which isnt fun and turns the game into a chore, something to just get through rather than take my time and enjoy. honestly Im on my second playthrough because I saw the delta flyer update. but got a RNG mission failure on the Phage mission - something which will hugely effect the rest of the playthrough, and I just sighed. I cba to save spam a second time, so I closed the game down, saw the steam notification to say do I want to review and started writing this. If you want to improve this game, you need to come up with better ways of dealing with RNG failure than just "mission failed" there needs to be consequences - like a battle, or hull damage, or a required away team mission, something that gives you a way back to success. its very frustrating that you are given a bunch of options, with varying success rates, yet when option 1 fails, you cant try option 2, its just mission failed. also theres no real way of buffing the options either as they are largely stage gated. I want to move characters around, or play with power levels, and I want failure to mean damage, or injured crew, or a mini quest (eg. to pick the trail back up, or scan nearby planets to find a hideout) rather than just meeting a Mission failed window that cuts you off from exploring the story further. there are some deeply satifsying elements to this game. the RNG story elements are not one of them.
A lot of promise but it feels *incredibly* repetitive. More so than other games of its type. Also worth saying, some of the difficulty settings need serious tweaks.
There are some glaringly annoying bugs that should never have gotten past QA, like how your ships life support systems get turned off every time you load a manual save.
