♥♥♥♥ you paradox. Love getting an unfinished game, then having support being cut a few months after launch.

Paradox, you are giving me more reasons to never buy your games. Do not buy this game, it is incomplete and now it has been abandoned by the dev.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Looks abandoned
Paradox should rethink how things like this deflect on their image as a developer and publisher: "Not enough sales? Shut it down lads, better try scamming the community with the next game." They supported this for a much shorter time than Imperator Rome, Cities Skyline 2 looks rough too and I start thinking that their approach with EU5, sorry "Project Caeser" might bey just a tactic to milk the last drop of money from EU4 and then announce what we all knew so they can claim nobody got scammed: "Well we did teaser it was EU5 don't blame us for buying the DLC". "Oh wow we f*cked up another release since the games is buggy as hell or has way less content than it should have, play [previous title] then and hope the game comes close to the predecessor in about 3 years or so unless of course we do a paradox again." Paradox has already become the EA of the strategy genre and we really need a new publisher/developer that was like paradox in their prime.
Paradox are a scourge to the gaming industry. A once great publisher has turned vile and only interested in turning beloved franchised into bloated DLC messes and if they can't milk the dlc (they have lost the license, the license doesnt support further DLC, they don't have creative people to come up with this stuff) they will abandon the game. Do not buy another Paradox game. You are a money bag to them, they do not care about your enjoyment or longevity of the game unless it pleases their shareholders.
It's a simplified Stellaris engine, which is fine. It has the Star Trek license, but even with the patches they put out, it still has some glaring issues with the AI, VERY limited ship types and classes (serious, the Federation doesn't get the Akira, Norway, Sabre, Steamrunner, or Nova?), and the story runs out without dealing with the Dominion, of all things. This will never be addressed, since the game is now no longer being supported or developed because of the fallout from the downfall of Embracer group. Had potential, but I can't recommend you spend more than five dollars on it.
It got released, than for half a year nothing happened and now they are pulling the plug. This is the just a cash grab and Paradox should be ashamed. Just download ST: New Horizons for Stellaris and you will have superior Star Trek experience. NEVER BUY THIS FRAUDULENT GAME.
I am simply amazed by the depth of Paradox games (in general). Other than that, I have no quarrels to purchase DLC's and season passes (even though the business model is questionable). At times, Paradox is slow to update titles and some bugs are left unchecked for a while. However, I was flabbergasted by the decision to no longer support this game. I had exactly 36 minutes of playtime, when I decided this game needed some time to mature. Unfortunately, this will never happen. I was forced to refund a game with an enormous amount of potential. Do not buy this game, unless you are an absolute fan of Star Trek and are willing to put up with game breaking bugs. Even if you are willing to risk it, do not buy it at its full asking price.
