pretty fun for a fan of trek and 4x games. sad that the dev team abandoned it, but it's still worth it for the four great vanilla playthroughs :)
Unbelievable how bad this game is
First of all, it is as bad as Legend Of Pegasus? Well it is not, while this may not tell you much since Legend Of Pegasus was the ultimate scam game! This is actually the second time of me feeling ripped of while buying a game. Well... I almost forgot about Prison Architect since it also was a big DLC scam. I had to actually double check who the publisher for Legend of Pegasus was (Kalypso media) since it would have been strike three for Paradox, and I consider myself a Paradox fan, but oboy they are stretching my loyalty alot allowing these type of games and support. Secondly, this is a reskin of Stellaris with some minor modifications and quirks. This is a game that was abandoned in less than a year! They didn´t even bother to fix all the balance issues or bugs! At first glance this may seem as a fun Star Trek game, but playing it for some time and you will soon see how bad it really is. And since the game is abandoned it won´t get any better. Avoid!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Didn't exactly feel complete on release. After less that 6 weeks of support it was ditched and it's pretty telling that one of the last blog posts from the game is blatantly "The modders will fix this". Just glad I only dropped £20. I got my money's worth, but I'd advise you save yours. Really soured me on ever buying anything published by Paradox again/
Lesson learned Paradox.
Avoid this game, it was a cash grab, and the devs have abandoned it.
Buggy enough to be frustrating. And...
Sadly, we must inform you that Star Trek: Infinite will not receive further updates.
good game, had a great future but sadly got abandoned
Unfortunately can't recommend this game. Issues around it not being as good as the mod for Stellaris aside, it has been dropped by Paradox less than 6 months after release. They haven't announced it on the news yet here, perhaps hoping to milk what little they can from it still. Do not buy it.
its like Stellaris but startrek so thats cool
