No worth buying anymore, definitely not from Steam. You cannot play online unless you play on EA app, and if you buy from steam, you'll have to get EA customer support to assign Spore to your EA library, because linking accounts doesn't work for Spore. I spent two hours in customer support chats only to find out I have to redo the entire process for the DLCs separately. Not worth it! Just get it for free in other ways. Also crashes like crazy which is odd for a game this old.

I didn't put much time into this game, but I recommend it. For the amount of time I did put into this game, I did not notice any cons. Worth the purchase off/on sale. If you plan to mod this game, I HIGHLY recommend either getting on Origin or using the CD key it port it to Origin.

Spore was my favorite game growing up, still one of the greatest games I've ever played.

Game has broken online features for me. I tried to contact their support but all they did was instruct me to play through EA app not steam and then my issue was still not resolved... Worse! In the process of them trying to fix it my creepy and cute got broken for some reason and wouldn't load in game. Finally managed to figure out myself how to fix C&C addon but my network features still don't work and they don't even want to talk to me anymore about it.
