Reviews
This game is actually really difficult and takes a lot of your brain. If you aren't willing to spend 6 hours beating a level then don't buy this game
Has some real brain teasers, it's pretty fun.
I've been playing this game for years, and have not really mastered it. It appeals to my sense of programming, because basically you're writing a program in 2-D space with icons on a grid. It's quite a challenge, that builds up from very simple to incredibly complex, but in a very slow, gentle ramp upwards. Someday perhaps I will be good enough to finish the game. :)

At age 13 this game and Codex of Alchemical Engineering subconsciously converted me to a programmer. I've only got 3 hours on steam but on my dads tablet I played for hundreds of hours, so much that he got real sick of me asking to use it. It's the quintessential zach-like. A very limited set of tools from which incredible complexity can emerge. Never too overwhelming, but still plenty challenging. And it holds up. Even in 2026 I can't recommend it enough.
Nice game but like most zachtronics games it resembles my day job too much by the end. I don't finish them.
Very fun puzzle game. Very little chemistry, all things considered. Highly recommend if you like programming things and want a challenge.
Supremely challenging and addictive.
Strong Factorio vibes. This is the game I'd use, if I have to introduce someone to programming, without them noticing. On a surface this feels like a puzzle game, but you're basically writing code, you just don't realize it.
