本体战役困难难度流程大约15~18小时。 其实，光是把战役打下来，也大概能把游戏的核心玩法体验个七七八八了：简化版的英雄无敌大地图+根据各种羁绊来排兵布阵+带技能的半自动战斗。 相较于同赛道的作品，它还是有一些自己的特色，能够提供一些乐趣，主要体现在：每次拿到新英雄、新兵种后，认真阅读相关羁绊特性，排出一个强力阵容；以及在高难度战斗中，依靠完美的技能衔接逆转战局。 但这种乐趣毕竟是有限的： 玩到后面，每次再遇到新英雄、新兵种时，排兵布阵不再新鲜，反而有些疲惫，甚至折磨。尤其是这游戏的tooltip出现有延时，而且不提供相关设置选项，实在太逆天了——每次想看点信息，超过一半的时间都在等待动画。如果能优化一下这个tooltip设置，并简化大部分兵种的特性数量，更加突出每个兵种的优缺点，这套系统应该会比现在更减负，也更有乐趣。 类似地，玩得时间够久之后，完美的技能衔接也不再是奖励型操作，而是逐渐变成一种必备的负担。到了这个阶段，我就会开始怀念某些半自走棋游戏中的指挥官技能系统——不需要瞄准，点一下就能按照某种规则直接触发，更适合长时间游玩；同时依旧需要动脑，但操作负担会小很多。 综上，在总共8关的整段战役中，前5关玩起来还是比较新鲜、上头的。而到了后面3关，上述问题就逐渐暴露出来了。再加上越来越长的关卡流程和越来越大的地图规模，游玩心态也就逐渐转变成了“赶紧打完吧”。不过，如果从整体上评价这段战役体验，我感觉它还是比近几代英雄无敌或全战更合我的胃口。 顺带一提，这游戏的整体完成度还是比较高的。完成战役后，遭遇战模式中甚至还有海量的职业和角色等待玩家解锁，DLC的体量和定价看起来也比较合理。对于真爱粉玩家来说，还是够玩很久很久的。

Art is pleasing. It is a combination of heroes and civ. If you are a fan than definitely a pick. For me, it's a little bit slow and has a lot of back-and-forth movements. Also, the dark side is annoying; I would prefer only one map.
Game is boring as hell
Speaking to the Story and Scenarios that I completed on Balanced difficulty: The atmospheric design of this game is easily an 11/10. The art, music, and general world building all come together to really hit you with all the right notes. Unfortunately, the gameplay loop itself feels just a touch dry. Even for an auto battler, the logistical strategy elements feel like they are missing something. Like an itch you can't scratch. Turns felt like they were to short, but also to long at the same time. The story writing and character development also feel just a bit hollow. If the art, music, and atmosphere weren't so dang good, it wouldn't be noticeable. But, with how fantastical everything feels, the writing feeling just a step short hits harder than it otherwise would. In a way, I think the gameplay fights with the story pacing, and the interspersed hero chatter during the chapter doesn't help alleviate this. Overall if you are looking for something you don't have to think to hard over, and want to please your ears and eyes, this is worth the money, barely. If you are one to try every strategy game, I'd look for it on sale. If you need your game to leave you thinking about it when you're away from your PC, this probably won't do it for you, unless you daydream about art.
