Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Jul 22 → 2.88/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A remarkable tactical game which stands out in the deckbuilding genre. It is easy to learn hard to master, but you get addicted pretty fast. I like the characters and the art style which are truly fantastic. I can recommend it for everyone owning a SteamDeck!
Roguelike.. Taktik.. Game was ich je gespielt habe?

A real gem. Part deckbuilder, part space invaders, part Into the breach. The synergies you can create work wonders in their own puzzly little ways. Screenshots don't do the visuals justice. More people need to find & enjoy this, and you, dear reader, could be one of them.
Basically what would happen if Slay the Spire and Into The Breach had a baby, everyone was afraid it would become a Frankenstein horror, but it ended up being a well adjusted, good looking overachiever. Excellent aesthetics, easily readable UI, and the main selling point is the addictive, nuanced and crunchy gameplay. It simply has the sauce, the juice, the magic, whatever you want to call it, the star quality that makes you want to keep playing. It keeps things similar enough with each mech having a base of cards, and each pilot modifying your starting deck with a unique passive item that hints at their playstyle. The best part of the game is its a lot more freeform with its tactical grid based movement, the game encourages and expects you to combo and build around things from the very start of the game, it has no early boring setup fights, usually one of the genres weaknesses. The entire game is lean in the best way, you spend barely any time in menus, checking things, or fiddling about, its all gas no breaks, pure tactical combat and deckbuilding. There is a bit of story and its delightfully brief while having plenty of personality and humor, definitely not phoned in, but its kept in between runs as a a nice desert after your main course. I think the deckbuilding genre must be somewhat oversaturated, otherwise this games lack of popularity is seriously weird, this should be considered one of the titans of the genre, usually I'd wait to do a more comprehensive review but I simply had to boost its signal a smidge because 2k positive ratings is shockingly low for something of this quality. Strongly recommended at any price, if anything the trailers undersell how good the game is, if it looks even vaguely interesting I'd give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.
Criminally underrated. One of the few games that managed to do something truly unique in the Slay-the-spire-like formula mixed with a bit Into the Breach. The strategic variety is on par with the best of these deck-building rogue lites, with probably one of the strongest presentation in the genre. Easy buy full price if you like this type of game.
This is the most fun StS-inspired game, even more fun than StS itself. I think the reason I like it so much is because it rewards creativity and playing on the edge while not being overly punishing. You're not searching for that one broken card or relic to complete your combo, but rather spotting weird cool interactions as the run goes on and it's so satisfying to see it play out how you hoped. Every run feels completely different. The more I play the more I love it. Also the music is such a vibe.
After playing several deck builder games, I find Star Vaders rather boring. In the 5 hours I've played, I used too many of the same cards and fought too many of the same bosses or even fights. I never lost a run, which is good on one hand, as there is no unfair RNG involved, but on the other hand it's just too easy, even on the hardest difficulty. There is a large variety of enemy types, but it rarely matters much, other than requiring prioritizing different targets first. There are many unreliable or inferior abilities that I never use. Just tried them once and never picked them again, as there are obviously better choices. I keep unlocking new stuff after every run, but almost never enough to really freshen things up. The only exceptions are unlocking new robots, of which there are only three.
The best Deck builder I have ever played. Even more awesome than Wildfrost and Trials of fire, my previous two favorites in the genre. Edit: I've come to the conclusion that spells are a bit gimmicky. They tend to dominate too much in late game and there isn't really any strategy to the majority of them. You just cast them whenever they become fully charged. And I am not really a fan of the fact that a couple af cards and artifacts kind of break the game. Recycler and Void storm come to mind. That said I still think Starvaders is a great game. Runs with pilots that belong to Gunner and Stinger are super fun and most of those pilots feel completely unique. So, after revising my ranking list, Starvaders is my third favorite deckbuilder of all time (after Wildfrost and Trials of fire).
