Sniper: Ghost Warrior (2010) is a tactical shooter that aims to deliver a realistic military sniping experience. Developed by City Interactive (now CI Games), the game immerses players in infiltration missions across Isla Trueno, a territory controlled by an aggressive military regime. Its primary focus is the tension of long-range target elimination, requiring players to move stealthily through dense tropical jungles and meticulously plan every shot. The game's main draw is its deep and satisfying sniping mechanics. Players cannot simply aim and fire; they must account for realistic environmental factors such as wind direction and speed, target distance, and even the character's breathing stability. The ultimate satisfaction comes from the "Bullet Cam" feature—a cinematic slow-motion camera that tracks the bullet's trajectory from the muzzle until it brutally impacts the target. However, the game suffers from deeply flawed and unfair artificial intelligence (AI). Enemies often possess "eagle eyes," instantly detecting your position from hundreds of meters away even when you are well-concealed in the undergrowth. These frustrating AI issues—combined with forced, stiff "run-and-gun" sequences—represent the game's biggest weaknesses, undermining its stealth elements. Nevertheless, it remains a recommended title for patient sniping enthusiasts looking for a bargain during Steam sales.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Curti bastante o game e a historia me prendeu.
The gameplay is pretty awkward but maybe it's because of the game's age. Thanks for the experience, I'm onto the second game now.
I'm extremely nostalgic about this game, not gonna lie. But it's so damn bad I don't think I'd recommend playing it even if you got it for free. Look, the 2010-2015 were full of these uninspired shooters, and this is one of the most painfully mediocre among them. The only gimmick that makes it stand out is being a sniper and that gives us slow motion when we shoot, sometimes. That's it. There's no more depth to this game. And even if that by some miracle sounds interesting, the problem is, a large portion of the levels don't actually involve sniping, instead you're just playing a basic first person shooter with an assault rifle or some sort of a glorified infiltrator with throwing knives and stuff. There's nothing to say about the plot, characters or the visuals, all of these aspects were just... boring. Nothing memorable happens the entire game. So you've got a painfully shallow gameplay loop and relatively mediocre or at times slightly underwhelming all other aspects. So no, even if you got it for free, basically everything would be better than playing this game.
This felt like such a half baked game. Even just playing on normal the AI detection is unreal as enemies with snap to your location immediately regardless of how far away you are or how well hidden. Enemy spawns are broken and sometimes just appear behind you without warning. Any time they decide to make you play as a non-sniper, the accuracy is abysmal. you can empty entire mags into an enemy and nothing will register sometimes. Why did they make a game about being a sniper and then take away your sniper I will never know... The story hardly exists, which is wild for a single player experience. Your final shot just pulls up "The End" no cutscene or mission debriefing about what this achieved. I would have refunded it but I spent so much time dealing with random bugs and restarts I am over the time threshold. I wanted to believe the reviews for this game were unwarranted, I bought the game so you don't have to.
Not the perfect sniping experience, but it's fine enough as is and will entertain you enough to get hooked on the story.
