Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 18.67/day in the week to Aug 4 → 29.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
this game is a lot of fun and its far east themed story really kept me glujed on the screen. the close combat mechanics are satisfying but driving vehicles is unfortunately a challenging task.
Gameplay is phenomenal: fluid, brutal, engaging. 8.5/10. Story is solid but inconsistent, above average for open-world. 7.5/10. Open world packed with activities; some repetitive. 6.5/10. Graphics hold up well. Worth playing. Hong Kong has never been this fun to punch through. Overall: 8/10.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

SO CLOSE TO A MASTERPIECE Some parts of this game make me wonder if its good by accident. Everyone Should Play it 5/5
если бы не 90 процентная скидка то я бы никогда бы не узнал об этом шедевре и я никогда не желею что поиграл в это
Sleeping Dogs is one of those games that hooks you almost immediately. The first few hours are incredibly fun thanks to its unique gameplay, satisfying hand-to-hand combat, and an atmosphere that makes it hard to stop playing. The map is honestly one of the game's biggest strengths. Hong Kong feels alive, full of personality, and is easily one of my favorite open worlds to just drive around and explore. The environment and overall vibe are absolutely fantastic. As the game goes on, the story only gets better. I ended up caring way more about the characters than I expected, and the main story kept me invested until the end. The only downside is that the gameplay starts to feel a bit repetitive near the final chapters. It's never frustrating or bad, but you definitely notice you're doing similar things over and over. Even with that, it's an easy recommendation. Great story, memorable characters, an amazing open world, and some of the most fun melee combat I've played in an open-world game.
Such a fantastic game! What a story. Wei Shen is easily one of my favorite protagonists now. The hand-to-hand combat is incredibly satisfying and feels unique even today. Hong Kong is beautiful to explore, and the mix of action, driving, and side activities kept me hooked from start to finish. There are a few minor glitches, though. Sometimes taxis refuse to stop, and occasionally the map won't let you select a destination while taking one. Nothing game-breaking, just a little annoying. The cockfighting in Kennedy Town was both fun and a massive headache while I was grinding for the **Auto Enthusiast** achievement. Overall, this is one of the most underrated open-world games I've ever played. If you're even slightly interested in story-driven action games, don't sleep on this gem.
top tier open world game. Totally recommend it
Gameplay is just ok, relaxing but too simple; however the game may be worth playing for an engaging story about mob and undercover police and, most of all, for the immersive representation of Hong Kong. Gameplay and especially combats are repetitive and without much depth, but at least they don't take too much time (if you mostly play only the main missions) and don't get to bore you too much. Open world tasks are also not very engaging, but rather things to take or do as collectibles. They should have given the player more items without having to unlock them through side missions one equal to each other: especially for vehicles, I would have liked more variety, but I played the whole game with one or two because races to unlock them are boring - driving for the missions is fine although the driving system isn't so incredible, but also having to do the races is too much.
