Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 18.67/day in the week to Aug 4 → 29.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Game is 12 years old by now, i am still enjoying the story so far. The controls are a bit laggy along with the movement sometimes, overall experience is still fun. It almost feels like GTA but the Hong Kong version, will post a new review soon once I am done
never gets old.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

positive critical· bar length = how often the theme comes up
The main game is basically a love letter to Hong Kong cinema of the 80s and 90s, and that is where it shines the most. I love the setting, the atmosphere, and the whole world. It feels like playing through an old-school crime movie. The combat is simple but flows really well, with plenty of environmental takedowns to make things more entertaining. Missions have a good amount of variety, shooting feels surprisingly good, and the arcade style driving fits the game perfectly. It also knows when to stop. The main campaign is a good length and never really overstays its welcome. The DLC being mixed into the main progression can mess with the pacing a little, but overall it is a great ride from beginning to end. Nightmare in North Point is a short but fun change of pace. I liked the Chinese ghost story theme and the changes to combat. Even little things like writing on enemies before finishing them off are a nice touch. The second DLC is basically the closest thing I've played to an actual Police Story game. It has some fun moments, but the missions themselves are much more forgettable. Overall, still a great game. The story, setting, combat and driving all come together really well, and the Hong Kong atmosphere carries it even further. If you like old Hong Kong action movies, this is an easy recommendation.
有味道,好玩
unironically one of the better open world games ive ever played. the developers had a great understanding of martial arts making the combat incredibly smooth, if you're a fan of open world crime games and combat sports/martial arts in general then this is definitley one to check out. 10/10 peak gaming
