Sir Whoopass™: Immortal Death

ein echter Komedy-Kracher. dieses spiel, wenn auch vom aussehen her etwas schlicht gehalten, ist ziemlich spaßig. "Hack and Slash" mit ziemlich viel würze. also, ich zähle dieses Spiel zu meinen Favoriten. Nicht weil es so viel her macht, nein, es ist eher eine Klasse für sich. aber Achtung: Audio nur englisch

the first thing you'll notice is there are a lot of low-brow jokes, and tons of references. it's not too obnoxious and the game can still be enjoyed despite them. there's one joke kind of turned into a game mechanic - the taxman. periodically an irs guy will chase you down and make you pay taxes on your gold. you can choose to just kill him instead though and gather up all the gold he drops. the overall gameplay reminds me of choo-choo charles in that it's a small-ish, open world made by an indie dev. the theme and feel are obviously very different. you'll have to visit different dungeons to gather the pieces of the legendary villian-beating artifact™ that's needed to take down the villian. the main character maxes at level 10, with each level giving you one point you can place into either strength, defense, agility, or luck. there are also three weapon types/slots which you can keep equipped at all times. fast (swords), heavy (maces etc.), and ranged (magic wands plus a flamethrower). as you level up, you can buy new weapons, and find upgrades for them throughout the map. i ended up actually liking this more than i thought i would. i did have a problem with steady crashes about halfway through, but it seemed to have fixed itself. it was mostly when loading up the golden pipe areas. if you're on the fence about this, give it a shot. 👍
